Negative is pregnant or not pregnant

Currently, there are many methods in clinical medicine to detect whether a woman is pregnant. In addition to blood tests, you can also use pregnancy test sticks or early pregnancy test paper to check. However, most women are not very skilled in using pregnancy test sticks, so they are not very familiar with the results presented on the pregnancy test sticks. Some women tested negative. Does a negative result mean that they are pregnant or not?

Generally, the results of early pregnancy test sticks show that a positive result indicates pregnancy, while a negative result indicates not pregnancy. After 10 days of pregnancy, pregnant women will excrete human chorionic gonadotropin into their urine. At this point, a positive urine test can be diagnosed as pregnancy. It is best to do an early pregnancy urine test when testing, because this period is the best time to test. At this time, the hcg value itself will increase significantly, and the test results will be more accurate.

In addition, the best time to do a pregnancy test is about a week after your menstrual cycle, when the test will be relatively more accurate. If your body starts to feel some discomfort in the early stages of pregnancy, amenorrhea is a common symptom. Some women may also begin to experience drowsiness, loss of appetite, etc. If these abnormal symptoms are found, you can take an early pregnancy test.

Pregnancy tests can also be inaccurate if used incorrectly or if other problems are present. In order to avoid mistakes, you can perform the test several times. Also, pay attention to whether the pregnancy test stick has expired during the check. Read the instructions in detail before use to better ensure the accuracy of the test.

How can we detect whether we are pregnant?

1. Menstrual cycle

For female friends with regular menstrual cycles, this method can be used to determine whether they are pregnant. After having sex, if the menstrual cycle has arrived but menstruation has not come yet, the first thing you should consider is whether you are pregnant. If your period has not come by the second month, the chances of pregnancy are very high. However, delayed menstruation may also be caused by excessive mental stress or illness. It is better to go to the hospital for more accurate examination.

2. Temperature detection

After pregnancy, the basal body temperature of pregnant women will rise by about 0.5 degrees compared to normal body temperature. For female friends who have been checking their body temperature, if they find that their body temperature has been rising for more than half a month, it can basically be concluded that they are pregnant.

3. Ultrasound examination

The most accurate way to detect whether you are pregnant is to go to the hospital for an ultrasound examination. If the pregnancy ring can be seen during the B-ultrasound examination, it can be concluded that the woman is pregnant.

In addition to the methods mentioned above, you can also use early pregnancy test strips or pregnancy test sticks to detect pregnancy.
