Female acne

Female acne

Acne on women's private parts is caused by gynecological inflammation. Gynecological inflammation is eczema caused by bacterial or viral infection. Women need to use anti-inflammatory drugs for treatment and pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva. When women get acne in their private parts, it is usually accompanied by redness, swelling and itching. Do not scratch the skin with your hands. You can also pay attention to wearing loose cotton underwear, and then choose to rinse the private parts with warm water.

Is acne on female private parts a gynecological disease?

Sometimes one or two pimples will appear on women's thighs, buttocks or vulva. Although some of them will heal on their own, it always makes people worry whether it is a sign of gynecological disease. Of course, if it is an ordinary acne that does not hurt or itch and will heal automatically after some time, then there is usually no need to worry too much about it.

If you find that the acne continues to grow, becomes larger or changes color, or even shows signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, itching, odor, or even suppuration, it may be a sign of a gynecological disease. Women may experience inflammation of the vulva or vagina due to urethritis, Trichomonas infection and other conditions. They may also have symptoms of gynecological diseases such as vaginitis and vulvar leukoplakia, which may lead to small pimples on the vulva. At this time, women need to get checked in time and ask the doctor to do further examination if necessary to detect the disease as soon as possible.

These may be the reasons for private acne

Of course, the probability of acne in the private parts being a gynecological disease is relatively low, and more often it is the following situations:

1. Folliculitis. If the hair follicle pores in the female genitals are large, external bacteria can easily invade the hair follicle pores and hair follicle glands, and then burrow into the hair follicles. Over time, it will cause folliculitis and cause "acne" phenomenon.

2. Drug stimulation. If women blindly use private area care solution or private area cleaning solution, or do not use inflammatory drugs as prescribed by doctors, their private areas may be stimulated by chemical drugs and cause acne. Some women may also experience drug allergies, which can cause private area itching, rashes, etc.

3. Lack of hygiene. The female private parts are a relatively dark and humid environment with poor air permeability, which is where bacteria like to gather. If you do not pay attention to hygiene in your life, do not clean your private parts, do not wipe urine stains after urinating, and do not change sanitary napkins frequently during menstruation, the bacteria will multiply faster, thereby irritating the private parts and causing "acne".

4. Disease factors: small sores in the private parts do not rule out the possibility of genital warts. Female genital warts are more common in the labia minora, labia majora, clitoris, perianal area, vestibule and other parts. The lesions are initially light red papules, which may gradually increase in size and number. Genital warts are moist, soft, uneven, and have cockscomb-shaped and cauliflower-like protrusions. If you have symptoms of genital warts, please go to the hospital immediately!

How to prevent private sores?

1. Pay attention to hygiene: You should pay attention to hygiene in your daily life, change your underwear frequently, change sanitary napkins frequently during menstruation, gently wipe the urine stains with a tissue after urinating, try to avoid going to public bathrooms, public swimming pools and other places, it is recommended to wash underwear and other close-fitting clothes by hand, and do not share bath towels, bathtubs, etc. with others.

2. Do not abuse drugs: Private area care solutions, disinfected sanitary pads and other private area products should not be used excessively, otherwise it will affect the acid-base balance of the private area, destroy the microenvironment of the private area, reduce the private area's ability to resist external bacteria, and make it more likely to cause disease.

3. Pay attention to your private life: STDs can be transmitted through sex. If your private life is chaotic and you make multiple male friends at once, the chance of virus transmission will greatly increase! Pay attention to hygiene before and after sex, and it is best to wear a condom!
