Breast pain in early pregnancy is mainly due to increased hormone levels in the body, thickening of the fat layer, and blood filling the mammary glands, which causes the breasts to become swollen and sensitive. There will be more examination items during the three months of pregnancy, such as measuring height, weight, blood pressure, the doctor asking about physical condition, B-ultrasound, urine test, blood test, uterine size, whether the fetus has malformations, fetal nuchal translucency examination, thalassemia gene screening, etc. Among them, thalassemia gene screening can detect whether there is a thalassemia gene by doing a routine blood test. If the result is positive, further genetic screening is required.
