Leucorrhea is the normal secretion of the female vagina, and normal leucorrhea is sticky milky white. If a woman is troubled by gynecological diseases, it will also be reflected in the symptoms of leucorrhea. The leucorrhea will appear as a blue-green or watery substance like tofu dregs. For pregnant women, they should always pay attention to their gynecological health. What should they do if they find that their leucorrhea is watery? What to do if you have watery leucorrhea during pregnancy 1. Vaginitis caused by parasites is transmitted directly through sexual intercourse, or indirectly through bathtubs, bath towels, swimming pools, toilets, clothes, medical equipment, etc. The amount of leucorrhea increases and is gray-yellow, thin, foamy, occasionally bloody or purulent, with a fishy smell, accompanied by vulvar itching or a crawling sensation, or burning, pain, and dyspareunia. If the urethra is also infected, there will be symptoms such as frequent urination, painful urination, and hematuria. If a pregnant woman has the above symptoms, she should go to the hospital for examination. If parasites are found in the vaginal secretions, it can be diagnosed as parasite vaginitis. The treatment options are oral administration of metronidazole, 200 mg each time, 3 times a day, 7-10 times as a course of treatment; or vaginal use of metronidazole, metronidazole, trichostatin, etc., 1 tablet every night, placed in the posterior fornix of the vagina, 7-10 times as a course of treatment. However, it should be noted that mefenamic acid can enter the fetus through the placenta and be excreted through breast milk. The teratogenic effect on the fetus cannot be ruled out, so it should not be used in early pregnancy (nor during the postpartum lactation period). In addition, pregnant women should not use 0.5%-1% acid or lactic acid solution for sitting bath or vaginal flushing. Vaginitis caused by water mites is prone to recurrence, so the treatment should be thorough. If the leucorrhea reexamination is negative, the treatment should be continued for one course to consolidate the therapeutic effect. The leucorrhea is considered cured only if it is negative after three examinations. 2. Fungal vaginitis. It is transmitted through contact. In the acute stage, the amount of leucorrhea increases and appears white like bean curd or curd. The vulva is extremely itchy, starting from the inside of the labia minora and then spreading to the vulva, seriously affecting work and sleep, sometimes accompanied by burning pain, and may cause frequent urination, painful urination and pain during sexual intercourse. People who use antibiotics for a long time and pregnant women with diabetes are prone to this disease. If a pregnant woman has the above symptoms and Candida albicans is found after examination, she can be diagnosed with candidal vaginitis. For treatment, first use nystatin tablets, suppositories or ointments to be inserted into the posterior fornix of the vagina or applied topically, 50,000 U each time, once a night, for 7-10 days as a course of treatment; or apply 1% gentian violet to the vulva and vagina, once every other day, for 10 times as a course of treatment. Be careful not to use 2%-3% sodium bicarbonate solution for vaginal flushing or sitz bathing like non-pregnant women. The condition is considered cured only if the leucorrhea is negative three times. It should be completely cured before delivery, otherwise the newborn may be infected and prone to thrush. What are the abnormalities of leucorrhea? 1. Colorless paste-like leucorrhea: The leucorrhea is sticky like paste, with a large amount, and often stains the underwear. Except for lower back pain, patients have no other symptoms. It is more common in chronic cervicitis. In addition, women who use more estrogen preparations may also experience this kind of leucorrhea. 2. Purulent leucorrhea: If the leucorrhea is yellow or green and pus-like, and is often accompanied by symptoms such as general weakness and low fever, it is likely that you have acute vaginitis or cervicitis. Purulence indicates bacterial infection, and you should seek medical attention immediately. 3. Watery leucorrhea: Leucorrhea that is clear like water, often soaks the underwear, and has a foul odor is often a sign of fallopian tube tumors. 4. Bean-dreg-like leucorrhea: The amount of leucorrhea is large and flaky like bean dregs, accompanied by severe vaginal itching. This type of leucorrhea is mostly caused by vaginal fungal infection or diabetes. 5. Foamy leucorrhea: The leucorrhea is foamy and abundant, accompanied by itching of the vulva and vagina. If a vaginal leucorrhea smear test is done, active Trichomonas may be detected. This is caused by infection with Trichomonas due to unclean bath water during a tub bath, pool bath or sitz bath. This disease is often caused by itching and scratching of the vaginal opening, which leads to purulent infection and the leucorrhea turns into yellow pus and foam. |
