Ovarian hyperechoic

Ovarian hyperechoic

The ovaries are also an important organ in the female reproductive system, and the main function of the ovaries is to secrete hormones to promote the release of eggs. Therefore, any pathological problems in the ovaries will have a huge impact on a woman's normal endocrine system and fertility. Therefore, it is very necessary to go to the hospital for ovarian examination regularly. Some women are found to have strong echo in their ovaries. What does this mean?

Ultrasound shows a medium-to-strong echo-occupying mass in the uterine cavity, which is most likely a case of endometrial polyp. It is impossible to determine whether the strong echogenic mass around the left ovary is caused by the adnexal area or inflammatory irritants in the pelvic cavity. It is recommended that you go to a regular hospital for a confirmed examination and then receive further treatment after listening to the doctor's treatment method.

Is it normal for an ovarian cyst to have echo?

Ovarian cyst is a gynecological disease, and patients may experience two results during the examination. One is displayed as anechoic and the other as echoic.

In fact, the doctor pointed out that if the patient's examination results showed no echo on the examination sheet. This indicates that the patient's ovarian cyst is a simple cyst, that is, a physiological ovarian cyst, that is, the composition of the ovarian cyst is liquid. If the ovarian cyst has echo after examination, it means that the current ovarian cyst is not simple, but it does not mean that it is malignant.

Whether treatment is needed and how to treat it needs to be combined with other characteristics of the disease, such as volume, and the results of ovarian cyst examination to refer to the doctor's advice.

How big does an ovarian cyst need to be treated?

1. Cysts smaller than 5 cm are generally considered to be physiological ovarian cysts. Follow-up with B-ultrasound every 3 months is sufficient. Most of them will shrink or disappear on their own, but they may grow again on the other ovary or the same ovary.

2. If the cyst is larger than 5cm in diameter and is purely cystic, it is actually not very harmful. The main complications that may occur are rupture, infection, torsion, etc. Of course, since there will be complications if the size is larger than 5cm, surgical treatment is recommended.
