Female left migraine

Female left migraine

Migraine is a relatively common neurological disease. There are many causes of migraine. Heredity is the main factor. The second is that some people like to wash their hair before going to bed. If you go to bed with your hair not dry, you will easily get a migraine. Migraine can affect our normal life because when you have a headache, you don’t want to do anything but have a good rest. So what should women who often have migraines do?

What causes left-sided migraine? Migraine is mostly a throbbing headache that recurs on one or both sides of the temporal region. There are many causes of it, 60% of migraine patients have a family history. As long as parents or siblings in the family suffer from migraine, the incidence rate is 3-6 times that of ordinary people; secondly, there are endocrine and metabolic factors. Migraine caused by this factor is more common in women, with frequent attacks during menstruation, and fewer attacks during pregnancy and after menopause; the third cause of migraine is diet and drugs. Chocolate containing phenylethylamine, food additives such as monosodium glutamate (MSG), red wine, etc. are easy to induce; there are also mental factors, such as fasting, nervous emotions, and great work pressure.

During a migraine attack, nausea, vomiting, fear of light and noise are all accompanying symptoms. In addition, if the disease occurs after the age of 45, there may also be hemiplegia, numbness, aphasia or slurred speech, which not only causes great physical pain to migraine patients, but also seriously affects their daily life and work. So how do you relieve migraines? In fact, medication can provide temporary relief, but it only provides relief at the moment and does not cure the migraine. The migraine will continue to recur in the future and may even get worse.

If you want to get rid of the torment of migraine, you must treat it through surgery. Currently, many migraine patients have been given a new life through microvascular decompression. Since the operation was introduced, it has been clinically proven to be a relatively safe minimally invasive surgery. The operation is performed under a microscope and can effectively relieve the pressure of blood vessels on nerves, thereby controlling migraines.

Migraine patients should avoid eating foods with high nitrite content, such as processed meat foods, such as sausages, ham, bacon, etc., which contain relatively high levels of nitrite, so they should eat less of these foods in their daily lives. Do not consume MSG. The main ingredient of MSG is monosodium glutamate. Consuming this substance will aggravate headaches in patients with migraines. There is no need to deliberately reduce sugar in your diet. For a disease like migraine, there is no need to reduce sugar intake.
