I believe many women are familiar with pelvic effusion, which is a symptom that may be a normal phenomenon or a pathological phenomenon. Generally speaking, women will have a certain amount of pelvic fluid during their ovulation period. This pelvic fluid is called physiological pelvic effusion. Of course, during the ovulation period, women's pelvic fluid accumulation also has a certain normal value. Let me introduce you to the relevant knowledge below! 1. How much pelvic fluid is normal during ovulation? During the ovulation period, the amount of female pelvic fluid generally does not exceed 10mm. We take 10mm as the standard, that is, fluid accumulation less than 10mm is physiological ovulation pelvic fluid, and fluid accumulation greater than 10mm is called pathological pelvic fluid. The amount of pelvic fluid effusion during ovulation is very small and generally does not require treatment. As time goes by, the pelvic fluid caused by ovulation will generally be absorbed on its own. Pathological pelvic effusion is mostly caused by some diseases, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, ovarian cysts, etc. During the ovulation period, women have pelvic fluid accumulation. After the follicle ruptures, the follicular fluid enters the pelvic cavity. The amount is very small and the patient cannot feel it. It can only be seen during ultrasound. However, this is all normal pelvic fluid accumulation and the amount is generally not more than 10mm. 2. Physiological pelvic effusion Pelvic effusion is divided into physiological and pathological types. The standard is ten millimeters, that is, effusion less than ten millimeters is physiological pelvic effusion, and effusion greater than ten millimeters is pathological pelvic effusion. However, pathological pelvic effusion often also has other clinical symptoms, such as vulvar itching, abnormal leucorrhea, etc., not just effusion greater than ten millimeters. A woman's pelvic fluid accumulation will increase during ovulation. The reason is that during ovulation, after the follicle ruptures, the follicular fluid will enter the pelvic cavity, but the amount will be very small. The patient generally cannot feel it. It can only be seen during an ultrasound examination. However, this is normal physiological pelvic fluid accumulation and will disappear over time without the need for treatment. 3. Pathological pelvic effusion Pathological pelvic effusion is caused by inflammation stimulating the pelvis. In order to protect itself, the pelvis produces an inflammatory response, discharges exudate, and flows into the pelvic cavity. These effusions need to be cleared promptly. Anti-infection and anti-inflammatory methods are often used to treat pathological pelvic effusion. If not treated in time, as the disease progresses, the area of effusion will become larger and larger, causing more gynecological problems. However, do not use the method of fluid extraction frequently. Although fluid extraction can quickly discharge the accumulated fluid from the body, it does not curb the generation of fluid accumulation from the source, and the fluid accumulation will eventually recur. If fluid extraction is repeated, it will cause damage to the female pelvic cavity. |
