Vaginitis is a very common gynecological disease. This disease is most likely to occur in married women and women who have given birth. This is because before a woman has sexual intercourse, the vagina is protected by the hymen. After sexual intercourse, this protective membrane disappears, and bacteria can more easily enter the vagina, and gynecological diseases will follow. So how many types of vaginitis are there? 1. Bacterial vaginitis: The amount of leucorrhea increases, and it is grayish white, thin, and foamy. The vaginal mucosa is congested, with scattered bleeding spots, itchy and burning sensation in the vulva, and a foul odor in the vulva. 2. Trichomonas vaginitis: The amount of leucorrhea increases, and it is milky white or yellow, sometimes purulent, often foamy and has a foul odor. In severe cases, there is bloody leucorrhea, dysuria, frequent urination, and hematuria. 3. Candidal vaginitis: vulvar itching, vulvar and vaginal burning pain, increased leucorrhea with a tofu-dreg-like appearance, sometimes accompanied by frequent urination, dysuria, and pain during sexual intercourse. During gynecological examination, white film-like substances can be seen attached to the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa, which will be exposed after wiping to reveal the red and swollen mucosal surface. In the acute phase, damaged erosive surfaces or superficial ulcers can be seen. 4. Senile vaginitis: The amount of leucorrhea increases, is yellow and watery, and in severe cases may be purulent and have a foul odor. Sometimes it may be bloody or accompanied by spotting. There is itching or burning sensation in the vulva, dryness and pain, and distension in the lower abdomen. When the urethra is affected, there may be frequent, urgent, and painful urination. 5. Nonspecific vaginitis: There is a feeling of falling and burning in the vagina, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue. Vaginal discharge increases and becomes purulent, serous, and has a foul odor. Because the secretions irritate the urethral opening, it can cause frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. 6. Symptoms of cervical erosion: Symptoms caused by uterine erosion include a significant increase in leucorrhea, which is yellow and pus-like, accompanied by a feeling of heaviness in the waist and abdomen and itching of the vulva. Poor appetite, easy fatigue, pale complexion. Generally, the condition is divided into three categories: mild, moderate and severe according to the extent of cervical erosion. These six points are the specific types of vaginitis. I hope that those patients with vaginitis can now know what kind of vaginitis they have, so that they can take the right medicine, solve their disease faster and better, and get rid of the pain brought to them by vaginitis as soon as possible. |
