When should I do a pregnancy test?

Pregnant women check-ups during pregnancy are particularly important. Many pregnant women are unwilling to go to the hospital for check-ups due to being busy or having physical problems. However, if they do not check, it is difficult to observe the baby's weekly development, and expectant mothers will become very worried. In order to reduce these concerns and avoid excessive worry that affects your health, you can calm yourself down through prenatal check-ups. At the same time, you can also detect problems early. When is the best time to do a prenatal check-up?

How long does it take to do a pregnancy test?

Can I get pregnant soon if the pregnancy test is normal? Not necessarily.

Many couples think that they can get pregnant if the prenatal test is normal. In fact, pregnancy is affected by many factors and is full of uncertainty, just like it is difficult to determine whether the baby is a boy or a girl.

The pregnancy test is normal but I’m not pregnant. What could be the problem?

1. Not enough time to prepare for pregnancy:

The pregnancy rate during the ovulation period of each month may be only about 20%, and good news usually comes after 5 or 6 months of preparation. So, don’t be anxious. It is normal not to get pregnant after one or two months of preparation.

2. Wrong lifestyle:

Are you an early bedtime and early riser? Going to bed early and getting up early can give the body a good rest so that the body environment is nutritionally suitable for pregnancy, which can increase the pregnancy rate and shorten the time of preparing for pregnancy.

3. Bad living habits:

If you smoke and drink during the pregnancy preparation period, and smoke too much every day, it can affect the sperm's fertilization ability, leading to a decrease in fertilization rate and implantation rate.

4. Incomplete nutritional preparation:

Both husband and wife need to eat a balanced diet during the pregnancy preparation period to increase the chances of a good pregnancy, instead of skipping one meal and skipping the next, and not eating three meals on time, which will affect the body's internal environment.

5. Improper arrangement of sexual life:

There are also some considerations for sexual intercourse arrangements. It is generally recommended that couples have sex 2 or 3 times a week. During ovulation, they can have sex every other day. The frequency should be neither too high nor too low. This will ensure that sperm quality is high and vitality is sufficient, and the emotions of the couple can also be improved and relieved.

Be sure not to look for the ovulation day to avoid adding psychological burden.

6. Too nervous and anxious

Let nature take its course; forcing things too much may be detrimental to pregnancy.

7. Bad History:

Abortion - reduces fertility. The body may be able to conceive, but the ability will always be weaker than others, and the pregnancy rate will be relatively low.

Too old - When you are too old, the function of your reproductive organs declines and their activity is low, so the chance of conception naturally decreases. There may be no organic lesions in the reproductive organs, but normal functional decline due to age still exists.

Environment - If the environment where you live or work is not very good, and you are frequently and long-term exposed to heavy metals, radiation, chemical pollution, etc., your fertility will be relatively low. For example, people who work in a barber shop may have difficulty getting pregnant if they are exposed to hair dyes, perm agents and other items for a long time every day. There are such cases in clinical practice.

There is nothing wrong with taking a lot of tonic food - whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruits, meat and eggs, etc., but eating a lot of tonic food for a long time may be counterproductive and disrupt the endocrine system.
