Itchy stretch marks after childbirth

Itchy stretch marks after childbirth

First of all, I want to explain to friends who have just become mothers that stretch marks will not cause itching under normal circumstances. If stretch marks cause itching, it may be a skin disease called urticaria. Stretch marks will become itchy after giving birth. This phenomenon is also common in many mothers. Because the body's resistance is relatively weak after childbirth, this type of disease is also relatively common. As long as it is handled and treated in time, it will recover soon.

The reason why stretch marks are particularly itchy after giving birth

The itchy stretch marks of pregnant mothers refer to the small red raised areas on the stretch marks that are very itchy. If stretch marks become itchy, it is likely pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy, also known as "polymorphic eruption of pregnancy." The rash may also spread from the stretch marks to other areas like the thighs, breasts, and arms, and because the rash usually occurs when a woman is gaining the most weight, it seems to be caused by the stretching of the skin.

How to get rid of stretch marks

1. When bathing, try to use the alternating hot and cold method, and use hot water and cold water alternately to rinse the areas where stretch marks appear. This is beneficial to blood circulation.

2. Keep massaging and apply stretch mark essential oil on the stretch marks. Massage for about 10 minutes to allow the skin to absorb it thoroughly. Use it once in the morning and once in the evening for better results. This method can not only remove stretch marks, but also make the skin more elastic.

3. Drink more water. Drink a glass of water when you wake up in the morning. But remember not to drink it all at once. Instead, swallow it slowly, mouthful by mouthful. This will stimulate the movement of your stomach and intestines and awaken the cells in your body. In addition, it can also allow the waste in your body to be discharged in time.

I believe that after reading this article, all female friends will be able to clearly understand the reasons for itchy stretch marks after giving birth. Everyone must remember this! As long as we carry out effective care, postpartum stretch marks can be eliminated quickly, so don’t worry too much, just follow the above method.
