Nowadays, the incidence of breast tumors is becoming higher and higher. Many female friends will have problems with their bodies if they are not careful. Especially when you find a tumor growing in your breast, don’t panic too much, stay calm, go to the hospital for further examination in time, and actively cooperate with treatment after diagnosis. Early patients still have the possibility of cure. 1. Incisions: Make a radial incision on the tumor with the nipple as the center. The length of the incision depends on the size of the tumor [Figure]. For tumors in the areola area, an arc-shaped incision is used. 2. Removal of the tumor by cutting through the skin, subcutaneous fat, and glandular tissue. First, separate part of the tumor and lift it with tissue forceps. Use scissors or hemostats to perform blunt or sharp separation around the tumor until the root. Then use scissors to cut off the tumor [Figure]. 3. Ligate the bleeding points one by one. Use silk thread to intermittently suture the gland and subcutaneous tissue to close the gap. If there is a lot of bleeding, place a rubber patch for drainage and then apply a compression bandage. [Precautions during surgery] 1. For papilloma in the mammary duct, use an arc-shaped incision at the edge of the areola. After cutting the skin and subcutaneous tissue, use a traction line or mosquito forceps to pull open the semicircular areola flap, use hemostatic forceps to separate it deeply, separate the mammary duct occupied by the tumor, and cut the mammary duct along the direction of its lumen to expose and remove the tumor, and then suture the mammary duct. The severed mammary duct should be ligated and the subcutaneous tissue and skin should be sutured. 2. The resected specimen should be routinely sent for pathological examination to exclude the possibility of malignancy. 3. Careful hemostasis should be performed during the operation, and larger bleeding blood vessels should be sutured. To prevent breast fistula, the breasts should be carefully separated and identified during the operation to avoid damaging the breast ducts. 4. For breastfeeding patients, it is more appropriate to advise them to stop breastfeeding first and then undergo surgery. [Postoperative treatment] 1. Apply pressure bandage and remove the drainage within 24 to 48 hours. 2. Remove the stitches 5 to 6 days after surgery. Direct cytotoxic activity of CIK cells: The reason why CIK cells have powerful anti-cancer ability is due to the direct cytotoxic activity of their CD3+ and CD56+ T cell subsets. This direct killing mechanism can be summarized as follows: CIK cells express certain chemokines or chemokine receptors on their surface, which can induce them to reach tumor cells; CIK cells are activated through the binding of receptors on the cell surface and ligands on the surface of tumor cells; activated cells release perforins and cytotoxic granules, leading to the lysis of cancer cells. |
