There is cartilage tissue between the upper and lower vertebrae, called the intervertebral disc. Any problem with the above structures may cause back pain, and even spread to the buttocks or lower limbs.

The root causes of back pain in most people are muscle and ligament strain, intervertebral disc herniation, degenerative arthritis, spondylolisthesis, and musculoskeletal pain syndrome. Common causes of the above-mentioned back pain include: bending over, twisting the waist, lifting heavy objects, pushing heavy objects, falling, sitting for a long time, standing for a long time, bad posture, too soft bed, wearing high heels, pregnancy, etc. In addition to the above reasons, other diseases that may cause back pain include: ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, lumbar fractures, spinal tumors, etc.

Symptoms of back pain in women:

When the spinal nerves are compressed by bone spurs or intervertebral discs, the thighs, calves and feet will become numb, and in severe cases there will be severe cramping pain. This is called sciatica. In addition, due to osteoporosis, compression fractures are prone to occur in the intervertebral vertebrae. In addition to spinal pain, the pain will also extend to the chest.

Health care methods for women's back pain:

1. When sitting: White-collar ladies spend most of their time sitting on chairs at work, so sitting posture is very important. When sitting, the back must be supported by the chair back. It is best if the chair back has a slightly protruding arc to support the back. In addition, you can place your knees slightly higher than your hips to reduce the pressure on your spine. Do not maintain a posture for more than an hour and then move your body slightly, which can also help improve your back health.

2. When standing:

When we stand, the spine bears all our weight, so the standing posture is very important. A normal spine has a certain curvature. Keeping and maintaining the normal curvature can reduce the pressure on the spine, so it can relieve back pain. When we need to stand for a long time, we can take turns putting one foot on a footstool about 20 to 30 centimeters high, which can reduce the pressure on the back.

3. Daily diet and health care

Studies have shown that back pain in ordinary women, pregnant women, etc. is likely related to calcium deficiency. Therefore, back pain, such as in pregnant women, is generally caused by calcium deficiency. Calcium supplementation is very effective for pregnant women or some female friends with back pain caused by calcium deficiency.
