Bladder pain in women

Bladder pain in women

The human abdomen is a very critical part, especially for women, which have many gynecological organs in their abdomen. Bladder function is very important. When women feel bladder pain, it cannot be guaranteed to be a simple bladder disease. It may be related to some inflammation. It is necessary to first see if it is related to these problems, and then find out what causes the cystitis.

Causes of abdominal pain in women Causes of abdominal pain in women

1. Chronic lower abdominal pain in women is mainly characterized by dull pain in the lower abdomen and sacral pain. It is mostly caused by chronic cervicitis, chronic adnexitis, chronic pelvic connective tissue inflammation, pelvic congestion, retroverted uterus, uterine hypertrophy, uterine prolapse, etc. Symptoms such as dull pain in the lower abdomen, a feeling of sinking, and back pain are often aggravated after fatigue, standing for a long time, and during menstruation. 1. 2. Lower abdominal pain in women is a typical symptom of pelvic inflammatory disease. Generally speaking, the clinical manifestations may vary depending on the severity and extent of the inflammation. When the disease occurs, there is lower abdominal pain and fever. If the condition is serious, there may be chills, high fever, headache, and loss of appetite. If the disease occurs during menstruation, there may be increased menstrual flow and prolonged menstruation. If the disease occurs outside of menstruation, there may be increased leucorrhea. If there is peritonitis, digestive system symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, diarrhea, etc. will appear. If an abscess is formed, there may be a lower abdominal mass and local compression and irritation symptoms; if the mass is located in the front, bladder irritation symptoms may occur, such as difficulty urinating and frequent urination. If it causes cystomyositis, there may also be urinary pain.

Lower abdominal pain in women seriously endangers their health. The lower abdomen is bloated and painful, and the lumbar and sacral area is sore, which is often aggravated after fatigue, sexual intercourse, defecation, and before and after menstruation. Patients may have increased menstruation and leucorrhea, menstrual disorders when the ovarian function is damaged, and infertility when the fallopian tubes are blocked by adhesions. If the inflammation is limited to the pelvic connective tissue and the fallopian tubes are not involved, it will not affect the reproductive function and pregnancy is still possible. However, if the long-term abdominal distension is not treated in time and turns into chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, it is very likely to cause infertility in the future.

3. Ovarian corpus luteum rupture

This is caused by excessive bleeding in the corpus luteum, accompanied by sudden onset of abdominal pain in the lower abdomen or one side, and in severe cases, shock may occur. Most cases of ovarian corpus luteum rupture occur between the 20th and 26th days of the menstrual cycle, and lower abdominal pain may occur at the onset, with varying degrees of severity. Before the corpus luteum of the ovary ruptures, the ovary will experience congestion and swelling. This process can be triggered when the ovary is affected by external or indirect external forces, especially when it is congested before menstruation, such as due to straining during bowel movements, trauma, sexual intercourse, or strenuous activity. It is best to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment immediately after the occurrence of ovarian corpus luteum rupture. Do not abuse painkillers on your own to avoid masking symptoms and affecting normal diagnosis and treatment.
