Many times, people feel some discomfort when urinating, so they should pay attention to urinary tract infections, but what is the reason for women's difficulty in urination? If urination is just slow and there is no pain, it has a lot to do with the unreasonable narrowing of the urethra. Of course, this situation is not common. The most common urination problem is cystitis or urethritis. (1) Distal urethral stenosis These problems are more common in middle-aged and elderly women, mainly because of estrogen deficiency which causes atrophy and adhesion of the urethral mucosa, leading to distal urethral stenosis. At present, the cause of the disease is not clear, but it is considered to be a symptom caused by urethritis and urethral trauma. Although few people are familiar with the disease of distal urethral stenosis in life, it does not mean that it will not occur. In short, no matter what the cause of female urination difficulties is, it must be taken seriously and actively treated symptomatically. (2) Bladder neck spasm If a woman has the urge to urinate but cannot, it is likely related to female bladder neck spasm. The main clinical manifestations are difficulty urinating, a thinner urine stream and a clear feeling of incomplete urination. In addition, some patients may also experience pain in the bladder area after holding urine. In severe cases, there may even be damage to the upper urinary tract, which requires timely attention and active treatment. I believe that many female friends feel very unfamiliar when they see the disease of bladder neck spasm, and some people have never heard of bladder neck spasm at all. However, in any case, they still need to devote full attention to targeted treatment. (3) Cystitis Cystitis is a common urinary system disease in clinical practice, mainly caused by urinary tract infection. Because the female urethra is shorter than the male urethra and is closer to the anus, cystitis is more common in women. Why do women feel like urinating but can't? After the onset of cystitis, frequent urination, urgency, pain, obvious discomfort during urination, lower abdominal pain, etc. will occur, which is extremely harmful to the health of the female urinary system. (4) Pelvic floor prolapse Pelvic floor prolapse is the most serious symptom of pelvic floor muscle relaxation in women. When the female urethral activity increases, stress urinary incontinence may occur. As the degree of prolapse continues to deepen, the problem of bladder prolapse worsens, and then obvious urination difficulties will occur. The harm to health can be imagined. |
