The fallopian tube is a bit blocked

The fallopian tube is very important for women. If the fallopian tube is blocked, it will affect women's pregnancy. If the fallopian tube is blocked, the treatment effect is usually not very significant regardless of water enema or physical therapy. Moreover, the blockage of the fallopian tube will increase the risk of ectopic pregnancy. However, it is best to go to the hospital in time to find out the cause and then actively treat it.

The main causes of fallopian tube obstruction or dysfunction are acute and chronic fallopian tube inflammation. Salpingitis can be divided into tubal mucositis and perisalpingitis, both of which are common causes of obstruction of the fallopian tubes. In severe cases, fallopian tube mucositis can cause complete blockage of the lumen and lead to infertility. In mild cases, although the lumen is not completely blocked, adhesions occur in the mucosal folds, causing the lumen to narrow, or ciliary defects affect the normal movement of the fertilized egg in the fallopian tube, causing it to be blocked midway and implanted there, resulting in an ectopic pregnancy. The lesions of perisalpingitis are mainly in the serosal layer of the fallopian tube, which often causes adhesions around the fallopian tube, twisting of the fallopian tube, narrowing of the lumen, weakened peristalsis of the tube wall muscles, and affects the movement of the fertilized egg.

Salpingitis caused by gonorrhea and Chlamydia trachomatis often involves the mucosa, while infection after miscarriage or delivery often causes proximal fallopian tube obstruction or obstruction or perisalpingitis. Tuberculous salpingitis is a serious disease and often causes infertility after recovery. Pregnancy may occur occasionally, and about 1/3 of the pregnancies are tubal pregnancies. Nodular isthmic salpingitis is a special type of salpingitis.

The lesion is caused by the extension of the fallopian tube mucosal epithelium into the isthmus muscle wall in a diverticulum-like manner, causing nodular hyperplasia of the muscle wall, which causes thickening of the proximal muscle layer of the fallopian tube, affecting its peristaltic function and causing the fallopian tube to become obstructed. Salpingitis can also be secondary to inflammation of organs or tissues around the fallopian tube, especially the formation of inflammatory adhesions around the fallopian tube fimbria or ovaries, which can partially obstruct the fallopian tube fimbria and even prevent the discharged egg cells from being sucked into the fallopian tube to meet the sperm, leading to infertility. Therefore, patients who have suffered from adnexitis, purulent appendicitis, tuberculous peritonitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, endometriosis, patients who have had incomplete abortion, medical abortion, fever, abdominal pain and puerperal infection after artificial abortion, patients with sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea, and patients with fallopian tube malformations are all likely to have blocked fallopian tubes.

symptom

1. Hirsutism: Blocked fallopian tubes can lead to female infertility, and the harm caused by blocked fallopian tubes is also very serious. The main reason for hirsutism is that the human body contains too much androgen, so the distribution of hair tends to be masculine, such as increased beard, chest hair, hair from navel to pubic area, anus and limbs, and thick, dense and black pubic hair. Due to racial differences, Asian women do not have as obvious hirsutism as European and American patients. Sometimes accompanied by acne and hair loss.

2. Obesity: During the course of fallopian tube disease, statistics show that about 25% of patients will become obese. The relationship between obesity and polycystic ovary syndrome is very complicated, which may be related to reduced insulin sensitivity. Moreover, obesity still exists after androgen levels drop to normal.

3. The symptom of obstructed fallopian tubes is chronic anovulation: There are many symptoms of obstructed fallopian tubes, the most obvious and easily detected of which is abnormal and irregular menstruation. The main manifestations are menstrual disorders, infrequent menstruation, scanty menstrual flow, and even amenorrhea. A small number of patients have their menstruation very rarely, with heavy menstrual flow and long menstrual periods.

4. Infertility: If the condition of fallopian tube obstruction is serious, it can also lead to female infertility. This may also be caused by anovulation due to hormonal disorders or ovarian insufficiency, or it may be caused by poor egg quality or progesterone deficiency, which causes poor endometrial growth and is not conducive to the implantation and development of the fertilized egg.
