Can ejaculation outside the body lead to ectopic pregnancy?

Can ejaculation outside the body lead to ectopic pregnancy?

There is actually no direct relationship between ejaculation outside the body and ectopic pregnancy. The most common cause of ectopic pregnancy is still related to chronic salpingitis. Because inflammation causes the fallopian tube to become deformed, this can easily hinder the movement of the fertilized egg. Ejaculation outside the body is just not a way that makes it easy for sperm and egg to combine.

1. Will ejaculation outside the body lead to ectopic pregnancy?

You should know that if the migration process of the fertilized egg is disturbed, it may cause ectopic pregnancy. The most common cause of tubal pregnancy is chronic salpingitis. The inflammation causes the fallopian tube to deform and narrow, with poor motility or even blockage, which hinders the movement of the fertilized egg.

The second is the hypoplasia of the fallopian tube. The fallopian tube is thin and long, with weak peristalsis, which causes the fertilized egg to move slowly and cannot reach the uterine cavity in time and is implanted in the fallopian tube. Therefore, ectopic pregnancy has nothing to do with whether ejaculation is outside the body or not, it only has to do with the fallopian tube.

In addition, ejaculation outside the body is not a reliable means of pregnancy, and it is less likely for sperm and egg to combine than ejaculation inside the body.

2. Causes of ectopic pregnancy

1. Inflammation of the fallopian tube: Generally speaking, after the fertilized egg implants outside the uterine cavity, it continues to develop. This is called ectopic pregnancy, and fallopian tube pregnancy is the most common. The causes of ectopic pregnancy include inflammation of the fallopian tube, which is a pathological cause and can be divided into fallopian tube mucositis and fallopian tube peri-inflammation. Both of these inflammations are the most common causes of ectopic pregnancy. When fallopian tube mucositis is severe, it can cause complete obstruction of the tubal lumen, leading to infertility. For milder cases of fallopian tube mucosal adhesion and ciliary defects, the movement of the fertilized egg will be hindered, thus affecting implantation.

2. Hypoplasia or dysfunction of the fallopian tube: Another cause of ectopic pregnancy is hypoplasia or dysfunction of the fallopian tube. Once the fallopian tube is hypoplastic, common symptoms include excessively long fallopian tubes, poor development of the muscle layer, and lack of mucosal cilia, all of which are likely to lead to fallopian tube pregnancy. We must know that once the secretion of estrogen and progesterone is abnormal, it will also affect the normal operation of sperm and eggs.
