When the size of the uterus does not match the month of menopause, an ultrasound examination is required to rule out uterine fibroids, uterine dysplasia, and embryonic dysplasia. If uterine fibroids are present, it is necessary to estimate the size and location of the fibroids and whether they will affect the growth and development of the embryo and require timely termination of pregnancy, and to estimate the nature of the fibroids as much as possible.
