Brown discharge on underwear during ovulation

Brown discharge on underwear during ovulation

Female friends have an ovulation period every month. During the ovulation period, women will experience symptoms such as increased basic body temperature, decreased appetite, more vaginal discharge, and increased sexual desire. Under normal circumstances, the secretion during ovulation is colorless, odorless, thin, and resembles clear mucus and can be pulled into strands. So, what does it mean when there is brown secretion during ovulation?

What is the cause of brown secretion during ovulation?

Generally speaking, the ovaries of women of normal childbearing age only release one egg cell per month. The egg cell can survive for 1 to 2 days after being discharged, and male sperm can survive in the female reproductive system for 2 to 3 days. Therefore, if you have sexual intercourse 2 to 3 days before ovulation and 1 to 2 days after ovulation, you may become pregnant. This stage is called the fertile period or the dangerous period of pregnancy. Women's ovulation period is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. To be on the safe side, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, a total of 10 days within the ovulation period, the ovulation period.

In the early stage of ovulation, the uterus and ovaries mainly secrete estrogen, and the secretion amount gradually increases. Under its effect, the amount of cervical mucus also gradually increases, and becomes thinner and more translucent. The lower body, which has been dry after menstruation, will gradually become damp and cold.

When ovulation arrives, the secretion of female hormones reaches its peak, the amount of cervical mucus is the largest, and its elasticity is also greater. Clear mucus is often discharged in strips, which can sometimes be longer. At this time, the female lower body is the wettest, and there will be a smooth feeling when the strips of secretions are discharged. In addition, the small wounds on the uterine and ovarian walls produced during ovulation may cause a small amount of bleeding, irritate the retroperitoneum, or cause lower abdominal discomfort or even pain due to the secretion of prostacyclin, which is called ovulation pain. The large endocrine fluctuations during ovulation can also cause a small amount of uterine wall bleeding, which is called ovulation bleeding. Some women may mistakenly think it is irregular menstruation. But generally speaking, the bleeding is less, the color is dark purple, sometimes light red, and sometimes only brown. It can terminate on its own in about 2-3 days, and no more than 4-5 days at most.

Ovulation symptoms

During the ovulation period, female secretions are often thin and clear, and can be stretched into strands. Under normal circumstances, they become thicker; the body temperature is about 0.3 degrees higher than normal. The clinical symptoms of women during ovulation are:

1. Reduced appetite: Female insects in the ovulation period will focus more on finding mates of the opposite sex for breeding rather than finding food.

2. Energetic: This is also a natural instinct inherited from human genes. In order to successfully attract the opposite sex, women in the ovulation period will become energetic and love to express themselves.

3. Increased libido: This is the maximum reflection of the body's signal that women want to get pregnant.

4. Decreased immunity: Women's vaginal mucus will become thinner, which allows sperm to pass more easily and increase the chances of successful pregnancy. At the same time, women's nasal mucus will also decrease, which increases the chance of bacteria invading the human respiratory system.

5. Fever: Although some women do not check their body temperature during ovulation, they will feel a little hot in the ten days after ovulation, especially at noon every day. The fever will no longer occur until the first menstruation.

6. Breast pain: Some women will experience breast pain or nipple pain during ovulation. Sometimes they really cannot touch the nipples. The main symptoms of the breasts may continue until the eve of the next menarche.
