What kind of tea is best for women?

As a woman, you must take good care of your body, otherwise it will cause many diseases. Generally speaking, women have to endure the disturbance of menstruation every month, and if they do not pay attention to hygiene, they are prone to gynecological infections. It is best for women to drink more boiled water and tea, which can not only burn fat and lose weight, but also detoxify.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, it is good to drink scented tea in spring because this kind of tea can dispel the cold evil accumulated in the human body in winter. The strong fragrant tea can also promote the growth of yang energy in the human body. In spring, everything comes back to life, but people tend to feel sleepy. At this time, if you brew a cup of rich, fragrant, refreshing scented tea, it can not only refresh your mind and eliminate sleepiness, but also help dissipate the cold evil in the body and promote the growth of human yang energy. Especially those with prostatitis or prostate hypertrophy, liver disease, teenage girls before and after menstruation, and menopausal women are suitable for drinking scented tea.

Scented tea is a unique type of tea in my country. There is a poem praising it: "Fragrant flowers adjust the mood, and clear tea invigorates the spirit." Drinking scented tea is not only a pleasure, but also can improve health and cure diseases. For example, common chrysanthemum tea can inhibit a variety of pathogens, enhance the elasticity of microvessels, slow down heart rate, and lower blood pressure and cholesterol. At the same time, it can dispel wind and heat, calm the liver and improve eyesight, relieve sore throat, relieve pain and reduce swelling. For example, jasmine tea has the good effects of clearing away heat and relieving summer heat, strengthening the spleen and calming the mind, relieving chest tightness and regulating qi, eliminating dampness, treating dysentery, and harmonizing the stomach and relieving abdominal pain; osmanthus tea has the effects of detoxification, aromatic avoidance of filth, removing bad breath, refreshing and quenching thirst, anti-inflammatory and expectorant, treating toothache, moisturizing the skin, and promoting blood circulation; honeysuckle tea can clear away heat and detoxify, cool blood and stop dysentery, diuretic and nourish the liver, and fight cancer; as for chrysanthemum orchid tea, it has the effects of treating rheumatic pain, mental fatigue, epilepsy, etc., and it also has a certain effect on bruises and knife wounds.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that people’s physiques can be divided into two types: dry and hot, weak and cold. Tea also has cool and warm properties after different production processes, so there are also different ways to drink tea for different physiques. People with a hot constitution should drink cool tea, while people with a cold constitution should drink warm tea.

Common teas are mainly divided into several categories, such as green tea, clear tea (including oolong tea, Tieguanyin, Dahongpao), black tea, and dark tea (Pu'er tea). This is basically divided according to the degree of tea fermentation from low to high. Generally speaking, Tieguanyin among green tea and clear tea is cool tea due to its low degree of fermentation; Oolong tea and Dahongpao among clear tea are neutral teas, while black tea and Pu'er tea are warm teas.

Experts suggest that people who have the habit of smoking and drinking, who are prone to getting angry, have hot tempers, and are overweight (i.e., those with a hot constitution) should drink cool tea; people with weak stomachs and cold intestines, who feel bloating and uncomfortable after eating bitter melon or watermelon, or those with a weak constitution (i.e., those with a cold constitution) should drink neutral or warm tea; black tea and Pu'er tea are suitable for the elderly. However, it should be noted that Kuding tea is more cooling in nature, and its functions of clearing away heat and detoxifying, softening blood vessels, and lowering blood lipids are better than other teas. It is most suitable for people with hot constitution, but people with a constitution of night sweats are absolutely not suitable for drinking this tea.

However, the physical constitution of modern urbanites cannot be simply divided into those of dryness and heat or deficiency and cold. Some people show symptoms of both: they are fat and easily get inflamed, but will have diarrhea if they eat something raw or cold; others are thin and obviously have weak spleen and stomach, but are also very hot. This is mainly due to modern urbanites who have bad habits such as smoking, drinking, and staying up late, which leads to the diversity of physical constitutions. However, everyone's physical constitution will show major symptoms, and the main symptoms should be used as the basis for drinking tea.

Urban patients who are in sub-health should drink neutral or warm teas such as Dahongpao, black tea and Pu'er. At most, add some milk to the tea to make it into milk tea, which will have a better effect. If your blood sugar is not high, you can also consider adding sugar to your tea. Some people may have poor absorption function and may suffer from diarrhea after drinking milk tea. In that case, they should only drink ripe Pu'er tea (with a high degree of fermentation), because ripe Pu'er tea will produce many trace elements after fermentation, which can promote appetite and absorption.

Understand the characteristics of tea

Green tea: People with allergies may vomit after drinking green tea. Most of China's famous teas are green teas. Since there is no fermentation step in the production process, their nutritional content is higher than other types, but their chlorophyll content is also higher, which has a greater irritation to the stomach and intestines. Patients with gastric ulcers cannot drink green tea.

Tieguanyin: Do not drink on an empty stomach. Tieguanyin is a semi-fermented tea. Due to its short fermentation period, it is still cold in nature, has outstanding fat-burning and digestion-promoting functions, and has a particularly strong tea aroma. But you can’t drink Tieguanyin on an empty stomach, otherwise, you will easily get tea drunk.

Oolong tea: Must be brewed with 100℃ boiling water. Oolong tea is neither cold nor hot, but spicy, cool, sweet and moist. It is a neutral tea suitable for most people. Because the tea leaves are coarse and old, they must be brewed with 100℃ boiling water.

Da Hong Pao Tea: warm but not cold, does not hurt the stomach, has a mellow taste and rich aroma. After drinking, the fragrance lingers on the teeth and cheeks for a long time. After brewing 9 times, the original tea still has the sweet-scented osmanthus fragrance.

Pu'er tea: It is mild and mellow in nature, and has the effects of warming the stomach, lowering blood pressure and blood lipids. Long-term drinking is effective in reducing atherosclerosis and preventing cardiovascular diseases.
