Why is menstruation always black?

Menstruation is a physiological reaction of women. It comes on time almost every month. Normal menstruation should be dark red and contain some small blood clots. However, some women will find that the menstrual blood they flow during menstruation is not dark red but black. When seeing this, many women who experience this situation will worry that there is something wrong with them. So what causes all menstrual blood to be black?

Why is menstrual blood black?

Why is menstruation black? Black menstruation is mostly a manifestation of qi stagnation and blood stasis, which is the most common cause of menstrual disorders in modern women. High stress in life, irregular lifestyle, introverted personality, anxiety, depression and other negative emotions that cannot be vented normally may lead to liver qi stagnation and poor blood circulation, thus causing irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea. If your menstrual blood is dark red throughout the entire process and there are a lot of blood clots, it is abnormal. If the menstrual period is accompanied by symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, shock, etc., it is also considered abnormal menstruation. It is normal to exceed the normal range once in a while, but it is abnormal if it continues for more than two months.
