Postpartum hair loss usually occurs between 2 and 7 months after delivery. It is best to go to the hospital for a check-up 6 to 8 weeks after delivery to find out whether you are suffering from iron deficiency or anemia. You should eat more iron-rich foods such as pork liver and eggs for prevention. Postpartum hair is often more oily and should be cared for according to oily hair.
