Female left kidney pain

Female left kidney pain

The structure of the human body is very peculiar. Some organs are one, and some are a pair. They all have their own work to do and are responsible for the health of the body. There are not many organs in the human body that come in pairs. Eyes are a pair, kidneys are a pair, and female ovaries are a pair. The advantage of these organs is that if there is a problem with one, there is still the other one. Some medical institutions have received some female patients suffering from pain in their left kidney. What is going on?

1. What causes pain in the left kidney? Kidney stones

Kidney stones are one of the more common kidney diseases, and the symptoms of kidney stones are often ignored, which can have a great impact on our health. Generally, there are no signs when this adverse symptom occurs, which often catches people off guard, so we must be aware of other adverse symptoms of kidney stones. The lower back pain caused by kidney stones often spreads from the lower back to the lower abdomen and even to the genitals. Sometimes, stones get stuck in the ureter where it enters the bladder, and the patient often has difficulty urinating, frequent urination, and other symptoms similar to urinary tract infections.

Treatment: Consider using azithromycin, levofloxacin, ribavirin, etc. for treatment. Do not eat spicy, greasy, fried, raw, cold, hard, salty, or sour food. Do not overeat. Eat until you are 80% full. Avoid smoking and drinking.

2. What causes pain in the left kidney? Kidney pain

Left kidney pain is a purulent infection of the renal cortex, which is caused by staphylococci entering the renal cortex through the blood. When an abscess is formed, it is called renal cortical abscess-type purulent nephritis. When several abscesses merge, it is called renal pain. The most common pathogen of kidney pain is Staphylococcus aureus. The bacteria can enter the kidneys through the blood from purulent lesions in other parts of the body, such as boils, sores, abscesses, infected wounds, upper respiratory tract infections, and infections of tissues adjacent to the kidneys. There may be no symptoms in the early stages of kidney disease, and the primary infection may have healed and been ignored. In the later stages, pain in the renal area may occur suddenly, accompanied by chills, high fever, loss of appetite and other manifestations of bacteremia or toxemia. There is pain, tenderness and percussion tenderness in the renal area on the affected side. Sometimes the leg movements are affected by low back pain. The swollen kidney can be felt and the waist muscles are stretched.

Treatment: Use adequate amounts of antibiotics, such as penicillin, carbenicillin, and cephalosporin. Early treatment is often effective. Early drainage after diagnosis can alleviate systemic symptoms and reduce patient consumption. If kidney pain is not drained well and kidney damage is severe, nephrectomy may be performed if necessary. If there is a perirenal abscess, perirenal incision and drainage should be performed, and kidney pain expansion and drainage should be performed.

3. What causes pain in the left kidney? Infection by pathogenic bacteria

The most common infection is Staphylococcus aureus. The bacteria enter the kidneys from other nearby tissues, such as the liver, trauma, blood, respiratory tract, heart and lungs, causing inflammatory lesions in the kidneys. In the early stage, multiple tiny abscesses appear on the surface of the kidney, which then form larger abscesses and masses, and may even cause perinephric abscesses, renal abscess perforation, etc., leading to severe kidney pain and other uncomfortable symptoms.

Treatment: Keep a good mood, develop an open-minded and optimistic attitude and character; live a regular life, have a regular routine, and ensure enough sleep.

4. What causes pain in the left kidney? Other

Left kidney pain caused by other reasons, such as kidney stones, kidney atrophy, kidney necrosis, etc. can also cause kidney pain. Ureter and kidney stones can cause severe pain; metabolic abnormalities caused by kidney atrophy, necrosis, etc. may cause progressive and persistent pain. In addition, long-term improper sitting posture, long-term walking, and excessive fatigue may also cause kidney compression, resulting in soreness and swelling-like pain.

Treatment: Clinical diagnosis is not only based on the patient's symptoms, but also relies on some auxiliary medical examinations, such as clinical B-ultrasound examination, urine test, and even renal puncture examination in severe cases.

5. Health Tips

The kidneys are important metabolic organs in the human body. For the human body, decreased kidney function may cause many problems. There are many reasons for kidney pain, such as inflammatory lesions of the kidneys. Nephritis, pyelonephritis, etc. may cause kidney pain. The most common factors include kidney stones. For some people with larger stones, they can cause obstruction of the renal pelvis, leading to decreased renal function, excretion disorders, and pain. Pay attention to exercise more, improve immunity and avoid infection. If the pain persists for a long time, it is best to see a doctor immediately.
