What causes uterine discomfort?

Uterine discomfort is usually accompanied by a feeling of pain. There are many reasons for the discomfort, such as uterine pain caused by pregnancy or threatened miscarriage, uterine pain caused by abortion, and inflammation and other problems cannot be ruled out. Further investigation of the cause is needed, and treatment methods should be selected based on the factors of the disease.

The main causes of uterine pain are:

1. Uterine pain after pregnancy If you experience uterine pain after pregnancy, it is best to go to the hospital for examination, because this situation may be a sign of threatened abortion.

2. Uterine pain after abortion. First of all, abortion is an operation performed within the uterine cavity. Even if it is a painless abortion, it is best to rest after the operation to avoid infection. Uterine pain after abortion should be considered to be caused by infection. If symptoms such as lower abdominal pain, back pain, continuous vaginal bleeding, dark blood, lumps with purulent secretions, and fever in some patients occur after abortion, it means infection. Women who are infected with gynecological inflammation will experience uterine pain and abdominal pain.

3. Uterine pain during menstruation Many women will experience uterine pain during menstruation. Most of these are normal phenomena. Due to individual differences, the degree of pain varies. Some are caused by dysmenorrhea. If the pain is severe, it is best to go to the hospital for examination.

4. Uterine pain after cesarean section Uterine pain after cesarean section is mostly normal. Female friends do not need to worry, because cesarean section cuts a large wound on your uterus. If the wound has not healed, uterine pain will of course occur, especially when the uterus contracts.

5. Sudden uterine pain Sudden uterine pain should be considered as gynecological inflammation. If accompanied by lumbar pain and increased leucorrhea, chronic inflammation of the reproductive organs, endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic congestion and psychological pelvic pain should be considered.
