Does the water below a girl have a smell?

Does the water below a girl have a smell?

A woman's body will undergo a series of changes after she reaches sexual maturity. Some women find that they always have fluid discharge down there, and sometimes they need to change several sanitary pads a day. Because it is a relatively private matter and there are no other symptoms in the body, few people go to the hospital for treatment. Many girls who always have water flowing from their lower body want to know if the water from other girls’ lower body has a smell? Let me tell you why the water from girls’ lower body has a smell.

1. Gynecological examination

Experts remind female friends that women who have sex should undergo a comprehensive gynecological examination at least once a year.

Diseases of the female reproductive system are called gynecological diseases. There are many types of gynecological diseases, the most common ones are: uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, vaginitis, cervicitis, cervical erosion, pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, functional uterine bleeding, breast disease, infertility, irregular menstruation, endometritis, abnormal leucorrhea, etc. Starting from adolescence, women should understand some basic medical knowledge about menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, delivery, menopause, etc., and always maintain an optimistic attitude, so as to avoid or reduce the occurrence of certain gynecological and obstetric diseases.

2. Self-examination

Normal leucorrhea should be colorless and odorless. If women find that their leucorrhea is slightly yellow or green purulent liquid, rice water-like, fishy or other odors, or even bloody, they should go to a regular hospital for professional examination and receive targeted treatment in time.

3. Common gynecological diseases

Vaginitis: Vaginitis is an inflammation of the vagina caused by infection with pathogenic microorganisms (including gonococci, fungi, Trichomonas and other microorganisms). Vaginitis can be divided into senile vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, gonorrheal vaginitis, amebic vaginitis, Haemophilus vaginitis, infantile vaginitis, emphysematous vaginitis and nonspecific vaginitis according to age and source of infection.

Vaginal tumors: Malignant tumors of the vagina are often secondary and can spread directly from cervical cancer, or from endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and choriocarcinoma. In addition, bladder, urethra or rectal cancer can often metastasize to the vagina. Primary vaginal malignancies are rare, accounting for approximately 1% of malignancies of the female reproductive organs. The main types are squamous cell carcinoma and chloasma carcinoma. Others such as adenocarcinoma, sarcoma and malignant melanoma are even rarer. Many obstetricians and gynecologists have only seen a few patients in their medical practice. Since secondary cancer of the vagina is more common, the possibility of secondary vaginal cancer should be considered and excluded before diagnosing the primary tumor.

4. Gynecological odor

1. Fishy smell: Some cases of vaginitis are caused by Haemophilus vaginalis, and the vaginal discharge has a special fishy smell.

2. Fishy smell: some anaerobic infections, Trichomonas infection or vaginal infection caused by Haemophilus vaginalis

3. Foul odor: If the leucorrhea has a foul odor, it is often caused by a serious infection or tumor in the reproductive tract. Therefore, if you feel uncomfortable, do not take medicine on your own. It is recommended to check and confirm the diagnosis before symptomatic treatment.
