In recent years, endometrial cancer has been on the rise. It brings great psychological pressure to patients. For cancer, the prognosis of treatment depends largely on whether it is discovered early. Cancer generally has several stages. If it is discovered early, when the tumor is still in its infancy and has not infiltrated the surrounding skin, it may be cured through surgery and chemotherapy. Next, we will introduce the early symptoms of endometrial cancer to our female friends. Patients with very early-stage endometrial cancer may not feel anything abnormal, but as the disease progresses, the following abnormal manifestations may appear. 1. Irregular menstruation. The most common symptom is irregular vaginal bleeding, which is sometimes more and sometimes less, and sometimes not clean. The amount of bleeding is not much at the beginning. As the disease progresses, the amount of bleeding will increase, but heavy bleeding is rare. Patients who have not yet reached menopause may experience increased menstrual flow, prolonged menstrual periods, and intermittent menstrual flow. People who have reached menopause and have vaginal bleeding, which is medically known as postmenopausal irregular vaginal bleeding, should first be alert to the possibility of endometrial cancer in the uterus. 2. Abnormal leucorrhea. A small number of people will experience increased vaginal discharge, which may be like light blood in the early stages; in the late stages, combined with infection, there may be pus-like discharge with a foul odor. 3. Pain. Generally, endometrial cancer does not cause pain, but in the late stage, it invades nearby organs and nerves, or due to the large tumor, it produces compression symptoms, which may cause pain in the lower abdomen, waist, legs, feet and other parts of the body. 4. In the late stage, the patient may experience weight loss, fever, general weakness, pale complexion, anemia, etc. We call this cachexia. Does irregular bleeding mean I have endometrial cancer? This statement is wrong. There are many possible reasons for irregular vaginal bleeding, such as vaginal, cervical or endometrial inflammation, miscarriage, uterine fibroids, gynecological tumors, endocrine disorders, etc., but most cases of irregular vaginal bleeding are not endometrial cancer. Many women experience irregular bleeding from time to time, but few actually develop endometrial cancer. Therefore, if irregular vaginal bleeding occurs, don't be too nervous or treat it as a serious threat. But that doesn't mean you can ignore it. We must go to the hospital to find out the cause of the bleeding so that we can feel at ease. |
