After a woman becomes pregnant, her body will undergo many changes, and the biggest change is the cessation of menstruation. However, some women do not have regular menstrual periods, so they are unaware of their pregnancy and think it is delayed. In traditional Chinese medicine, one way to know whether you are pregnant is to take your pulse. In traditional Chinese medicine, there are many kinds of pulse patterns, and different pulse patterns also represent different conditions in the body. So how do you know if you are pregnant by taking your pulse? How does Chinese medicine know if you are pregnant by taking the pulse? Pulse conditions are generally divided into flat pulse, floating pulse, sinking pulse, slow pulse, rapid pulse, weak pulse, strong pulse, slippery pulse, surging pulse, thin pulse, stringy pulse, hurried pulse, knotted pulse, and alternate pulse. The normal human pulse is also called the normal pulse. The pulse during pregnancy is usually slippery. 1. Pulse diagnosis time It is best to do it in the morning, before eating or exercising, and in a quiet environment. The pulse can better reflect the condition of the body and facilitate diagnosis. 2. Pulse taking position The person being diagnosed should sit or lie flat, with his arm flat and nearly at the same level as the heart, wrist straight, palm upward, and a cloth pillow placed on the back of the wrist to facilitate feeling the pulse. Incorrect body posture will affect the circulation of local qi and blood and affect the pulse. 3. Pulse diagnosis method The place for taking the pulse is generally the Cun pulse, which is divided into three parts: Cun, Guan, and Chi. Stretch out your hand and place it naturally on the table. You will see a bone protrusion at the wrist. On the side of the thumb, place the fingers of the other hand on this protrusion. On the inner edge of the protrusion, you can feel the arterial pulsation. This part is the "Guan". Above the Guan (towards the fingertips) is Cun, and below the Guan is Chi. Early pregnancy symptoms Changes in appetite Some women begin to experience a change in appetite shortly after their period (1-2 weeks). The things I used to like to eat, I no longer like to eat now. I won’t like the food I’ve eaten once the second time. Some people simply don’t want to eat or even feel like vomiting, and some people crave something sour. Generally, these symptoms will disappear naturally after half a month to a month. Breast changes In early pregnancy, your breasts will increase in size and become firmer and heavier. There will be a feeling of fullness and tingling in the breasts. The small particles on the dark yellow areola around the nipple are particularly prominent. Frequent urination In the early stages of pregnancy, many women experience frequent urination, some as often as once an hour. This is a natural phenomenon and does not require treatment. Mental fatigue In early pregnancy, many women feel tired, lack energy, and want to sleep. But this period will not last too long and will pass quickly. Generally speaking, if a woman with a normal sexual life still does not have her period one week after her menstrual cycle, she should go to the hospital to check her urine to determine whether she is pregnant. |
