The patient must be sent to the hospital immediately and try to terminate the pregnancy within 6 hours.

2. Puerperal Bleeding

During this period, the perineal wound made during delivery has not yet healed firmly or there is granulation tissue in the vaginal wound. During sexual intercourse, the wound may split or the tender granulation tissue in the vagina may be scratched, causing bleeding.

3. Pathological vaginal bleeding

Cervical polyps: They are caused by chronic inflammatory stimulation, which leads to local hyperplasia of the cervical mucosa and gradual outward protrusion. They are bright red, soft and fragile, rich in blood, and can be easily ruptured during sexual intercourse, causing a small amount of bright red bleeding.

Cancer: If middle-aged and elderly people experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse, which is bright red and painless, and if their vaginal discharge increases recently and has a fishy odor, it is often an early symptom of cervical cancer. You should be vigilant and have a gynecological examination to rule out cancer.

Sexually transmitted diseases: A small amount of bright red vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse, recent vulvar itching, and small wart-like growths on the vulva or vaginal walls; when a man has similar growths on the foreskin of his penis head, genital warts may be considered. Both men and women should go to the hospital for examination, diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.
