Why do some girls not bleed the first time?

Why do some girls not bleed the first time?

Generally speaking, women who have sexual intercourse for the first time will experience bleeding because their hymen has not yet ruptured. However, not all girls will bleed during their first night. Many girls who like to exercise may have their hymen ruptured during exercise. Therefore, it is normal not to bleed during the first sexual intercourse. It does not mean that you are not a virgin if you do not bleed.

1. Reasons why a virgin does not bleed for the first time

When a girl has sexual intercourse for the first time, her hymen is broken, forming a tear and causing bleeding. However, the hymen itself has no muscles and will not contract. It only contains a small number of capillaries. There is a small opening on the membrane through which menstruation can be discharged. Some people have large openings, while others have small openings. If the opening is naturally large, then you may not have bleeding during your first sexual intercourse.

Interestingly, some women experience a small amount of bleeding after sexual intercourse within a week or a month after their first night, without any obvious pain, while some women experience slight pain. The reason is that after the first night, the shame and anxiety are relieved, the sexual life becomes more spontaneous, the thrusting becomes more violent, the cracks in the hymen become more obvious, and therefore there is visible bleeding. From this we can see more clearly that the bleeding of the hymen is more related to the speed and force of penetration, and has little to do with whether it is the first night.

However, some people experience heavy bleeding due to differences in the morphology of individual hymens and the degree of rupture. For example, a septate hymen with two holes will bleed more and be accompanied by more severe pain. The labial hymen bleeds very little and is almost painless. A thicker, more elastic umbrella-shaped hymen may not rupture at all.

2. Does bleeding mean a woman is a virgin?

It is incorrect to judge whether a girl is a virgin based on whether she has bleeding on her first night, because some women's hymen is too thick, or is naturally too large, and it is difficult for it to rupture even after multiple sexual intercourses. There are also cases of congenital old lacerations. In addition, even if the hymen is intact, bleeding may not be seen during the first sexual intercourse, because there are very few capillaries distributed on the hymen, and the flow rate is only about 1 to 2cc, which is sometimes diluted by secretions. Therefore, do not judge whether a girl is a virgin based on "bleeding".

In addition, the morphology of each woman's hymen is different, so it is impossible to determine whether a woman is a virgin by observing the hymen. Moreover, some virgins have large hymen holes, good elasticity, and few blood vessels inside the membrane. In addition, the man is gentle and not rough during intercourse, so the hymen may not rupture after multiple intercourses. Therefore, boys and girls don’t have to worry too much about the rupture of the hymen and “bleeding”.

3. How painful is a girl’s first night?

Wrong view: The hymen is a barrier that protects the penis. It is a porous membrane. Men must use a lot of force to break through the defense line, so it must be very painful! The first time is always scary!

Because it is a ring-shaped tissue, there is one or more holes in the middle with a diameter of about 1 to 1.5 cm, which allows menstrual blood, detached endometrium and blood clots to pass smoothly.

The real force that prevents penis insertion comes from the active contraction of the female pelvic floor muscles. Due to tension, the muscles spasm, causing the vaginal opening to close very tightly. Even a cotton swab cannot be inserted, let alone a penis?

Most men also think that it is a membrane that blocks the penis, so they use a lot of force to insert it. This misconception has resulted in many young boys and girls spending their "first time" in tension and pain, without truly enjoying the sweetness of love.
