Can I wear contact lenses when I am pregnant?

Colored contact lenses are a magical tool for becoming more beautiful, and many urban women like to wear them very much. With the opening of the second child policy, many families have wanted a second child. For women who love beauty and like children, beauty during pregnancy is something that cannot be compromised. So everyone will wonder whether pregnant women can wear colored contact lenses? Will wearing colored contact lenses have any adverse effects on the fetus? Not really built

It is recommended that pregnant women try cosmetic contact lenses for the following reasons:

1. Affect eye comfort. Just like wearing contact lenses, the tear layer of pregnant women will change during pregnancy, and wearing cosmetic lenses will affect the comfort of the eyes.

2. Increase the incidence of corneal inflammation and ulcers. What’s more serious is that the water content of pregnant women’s cornea is higher than that of normal people. Wearing cosmetic contact lenses may cause corneal inflammation and ulcers.

3. Increase the damage of new blood vessels in the eye. The curvature of the cornea changes during pregnancy and myopia may increase. If you wear cosmetic contact lenses at this time, it may cause neovascularization damage to the eye.

Because the harm caused by wearing colored contact lenses is immeasurable, it is not recommended for pregnant women to wear colored contact lenses.

So how can pregnant women prevent stretch marks?

1. Control weight gain

The weight gain during pregnancy should not exceed the recommended value, which means that generally speaking, the weight gain should be controlled between 11.5 and 13.5 kg. At the same time, a slow weight gain may reduce the chance of developing stretch marks.

Recommended plan:

A. Correct water drinking habits will speed up your skin elasticity plan. After getting up in the morning, you can drink a large glass of warm mineral water first. It can stimulate gastrointestinal motility and put the internal organs into working condition. In the early morning, it is very important to excrete waste from the body. If you are often troubled by constipation, you might want to add some salt to your water.

B. Adjust your eating habits. Eat fresh fruits as much as possible and drink less fruit juice. Drink skim milk and less whole milk. Drink clear soup and less thick soup. Eat more low-sugar fruits and less cookies and salads.

C. Moderate exercise or light housework can help restore skin elasticity. It is effective in increasing the skin elasticity of the waist, abdomen, buttocks, breasts, inner thighs and other parts.

D. Ensure a balanced, nutritious diet and avoid consuming too much carbohydrates and excess calories, which can lead to excessive weight gain.

2. Apply olive oil to prevent stretch marks

Expectant mothers should massage their abdomen with olive oil from the third month of pregnancy to the third month after giving birth. The massage method is to take an appropriate amount of olive oil every day and apply it evenly on the abdomen, buttocks, inner thighs and other parts, and gently massage for a few minutes until absorbed. Even if some stretch marks have already formed, diligent massage can prevent the increase of fine lines and the scope of stretch marks will no longer expand.

It is best to use it after taking a shower (because it is the best time for blood circulation throughout the body). It will be more effective if you massage once in the morning and once in the evening. Each massage should last about ten to fifteen minutes.

3. Use stretch mark protection products

Skin moisturizer can help keep the skin tender, but pregnant mothers should not expect it to help you prevent the appearance of stretch marks. Perhaps, pregnant mothers can try massaging their skin with wheat germ oil or almond oil every day. Some auxiliary therapists also suggest that you take more vitamin E capsules or massage stretch marks with vitamin E oil.
