Is frequent urination a sign of impending childbirth?

After a woman becomes pregnant, as the fetus continues to grow, the uterus is compressed and the symptoms of frequent urination will gradually become more and more obvious. Therefore, it is not accurate to use frequent urination to determine whether the baby is about to be born. From the clinical perspective, there will be obvious contractions for two weeks before delivery, which are similar to dysmenorrhea; the most obvious symptom is the rupture of amniotic fluid; there will be a strong feeling of falling in the lower abdomen, etc.

1. Does frequent urination mean that you are about to give birth?

As for frequent urination, it is a normal phenomenon that most people will experience in the late stages of pregnancy, and it should not be a sign of imminent birth.

2. What are the symptoms of a pregnant woman about to give birth?

First of all, when you are pregnant and about to give birth, you will definitely feel obvious pain. Generally speaking, you will start to feel a tearing sensation one to two weeks before delivery, or a few hours in advance, just like normal menstrual cramps.

Secondly, before the onset of pregnancy, water rupture often occurs. In professional terms, this water rupture means that the amniotic membrane surrounding the fetus and amniotic fluid has ruptured. It is recommended that you do not walk around casually, stay in bed, and go to the hospital for delivery in time.

Third, when the pregnancy is about to begin, the pregnant woman will have bleeding symptoms in her lower body because the baby is about to come out. The female cervix becomes softer and thinner, and the cervical mucus will flow out, bringing out a lot of blood.

Fourthly, a few days before delivery, pregnant women will obviously feel their lower abdomen falling, which is because the uterus begins to fall. The falling uterus will compress the bladder, and pregnant women will obviously feel frequent urination, and even back pain, and they will easily feel tired when walking.

The last thing I want to tell you is that the most common symptom in the two days before delivery is abdominal contractions. Each contraction will last about thirty seconds, and there will be a ten-minute interval between the two contractions. The closer to the delivery time, the longer the pain will last, and if it becomes a regular pain, then you should go to the hospital early to wait for delivery.
