Is it better to do fluid perfusion or angiography?

Many female friends may encounter such a situation in daily life. They want to have a lovely child and have made long-term efforts for this, but the results are very limited. At this time, they should consider whether it is a problem with the fallopian tube. In the process of seeing a doctor, it will mention checking the fallopian tube. Some suggest hysterosalpingography, while others suggest hydrotubation. So is it better to do hydrotubation or hydrotubation? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the two?

Hysterosalpingography

Hysterosalpingography is actually a method of injecting contrast agent (iodized oil or iodine water) and then observing the conditions in the uterus, fallopian tubes and pelvic cavity through ultrasound or X-ray imaging equipment to draw conclusions. There are so many items for fallopian tube examination, and the fees vary. Why should we choose hysterosalpingography?

Advantages of salpingography :

It can clearly understand the physiological structure of the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes to see if there are any deformities or pathological changes. It can clearly see the site of blockage and formulate targeted treatment based on the clear location of the blockage. >>>>After the angiography examination, the fallopian tube that was originally slightly blocked by adhesions became unobstructed, so it played a certain therapeutic role in unblocking the fallopian tube.

Not only can we accurately understand the condition of the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes, but we can also strive for the best treatment period and determine the treatment plan based on the guidance, especially for cases where fallopian tube blockage recurs or when we want to clear the fallopian tubes after ligation.

Hysterosalpingography also has certain disadvantages. The contrast agent may be irritating and cause abdominal pain, etc. It may also cause the risk of chemical peritonitis. If an X-ray is used, the body will briefly absorb a small amount of the X-ray. Of course, it would be relatively safe if it is performed under B-ultrasound. Not all situations can be checked. Some situations are not suitable for inspection, such as:

Iodine allergy;

Just finished surgery or gynecological interventional examinations such as hysteroscopy, etc.

Are menstruating;

At that time, there was acute inflammation of the internal and external genital organs;

Within 6 weeks after abortion or curettage;

Have serious systemic illness.

Hysterosalpingography

Hysterosalpingography refers to the injection of sterile distilled water or distilled water through the uterus. The doctor feels the resistance and the amount of liquid reflux during the injection process to determine the patency of the fallopian tube and whether there is any blockage.

Advantages: Simple, easy, low-cost, and there is no need to worry about the effects of drugs or contrast agents after the examination and not dare to prepare for pregnancy. And it can be carried out in ordinary primary health centers or outpatient clinics even with simple equipment.

Disadvantages: The false negative rate is high. If there is hydrosalpinx, the fluid used for perfusion may enter the hydrosalpinx cavity, which will affect the judgment of whether the fallopian tube is unobstructed. Moreover, it cannot indicate which side of the fallopian tube is unobstructed and which part of the fallopian tube is blocked, which can easily be misleading. Frequent water drainage may also cause infection or hydrosalpinx. There are also some taboos. It is not suitable for patients undergoing surgery, menstruation, gynecological inflammation, shortly after a miscarriage or curettage, or those with systemic diseases.
