So, why does the breasts produce milk?

Breasts are important organs for female mammals to bear offspring. The human breast structure is divided into internal and external parts. It is mainly composed of mammary gland and other muscle tissues. For human females, how to maintain breasts is the primary issue. For example, preventing various breast diseases and timely examinations are important links. Breasts also have aesthetic significance, with body art created based on the health of the organ. The main components of breasts are fat and mammary glands. Female breasts are only secondary sexual characteristics, not reproductive organs.

The breast is located in the upper abdomen of the torso of mammals, and in most cases it refers specifically to the breasts of human females. For most mammals, breasts are organs that female mammals use to feed their young; for humans, developed breasts are one of the secondary sexual characteristics of females. Male mammals (including human males) have breast tissue such as mammary glands during infancy, but it does not develop during the growth process of infancy.

If you are not breastfeeding, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for examination in time. This abnormal lactation and irregular menstruation may be caused by other diseases. It is recommended to check promptly.

It should be considered that it is related to hormone levels, so it is generally better to check it. In this case, you should consider going to the hospital for a check-up, usually to see what the hormone levels are like, and also consider checking B-ultrasound and vulvar secretions.

In the non-pregnancy and non-lactation period, the discharge of fluid when the nipple is squeezed is called nipple discharge. Nipple discharge is one of the common symptoms of breast disease. If nipple discharge occurs from a single nipple, it is mostly related to the following breast diseases: 1. Mammary duct ectasia 2. Intraductal papilloma 3. Cystic breast hyperplasia 4. Breast cancer. In short, nipple discharge is an important breast symptom, of which 10% to 15% may be breast cancer. If symptoms occur, go to the hospital promptly for treatment and do a smear cytology examination of the discharge. The positive diagnostic rate of near-infrared breast scanning for ductal lesions in the areola area can reach 80% to 95%. B-ultrasound examination and mammography also have a considerable accuracy rate. Selective lesion ductography is a commonly used examination method for nipple discharge. It has great value in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant nipple discharge, and it can also provide physicians with accurate positioning of the surgical resection range.
