Symptoms of hernia in women

Generally, apart from young girls, obese people and women who have undergone pregnancy and childbirth are more likely to get it. Umbilical hernia and abdominal wall hernia have a certain incidence rate. The incidence rate of female femoral hernia is relatively high. The symptoms are generally mild, so they are often ignored. There is also a type of inguinal hernia that women are more prone to, and because it occurs in the uterus and ovaries, the female lower body will appear abnormally swollen, sometimes accompanied by a feeling of heaviness and pain.

Regarding female hernia, there are generally the following symptoms

1. Women feel a slipping sensation when standing up or exercising, but it disappears when you lie down or press it lightly. This is our common symptom of hernia.

2. Women's hernias can occur on one side or on both sides. They are more common in girls and are mainly femoral hernias. Sometimes they are ring-shaped lumps, and sometimes they are long and narrow. The shapes are different. They slide from the lower right or left corner of the abdomen and then fall down to the perineum.

3. Generally, inguinal oblique hernia only has a protrusion in the groin area in the early stage. If your woman's inguinal oblique hernia falls to the labia majora, it is generally called a vulvar hernia. If the hernia sac is very large, it is called a maximal hernia.

4. Hernia also has the characteristic of continuous change. The lump will change with the change of our posture. If you keep standing, the lump will become larger and larger. If you lie flat, it will gradually shrink or even disappear.

If female hernia is not properly treated, the hernia mass will continue to grow and the symptoms will continue to worsen. In severe cases, it may threaten the woman's personal safety. Therefore, it must not be ignored.
