1. Threatened abortion

2. Spontaneous abortion

The bleeding symptoms caused by miscarriage are mainly manifested as a small amount of vaginal bleeding. Depending on the amount of bleeding and the length of time it accumulates in the vagina, the color may be bright red, pink or dark brown. Sometimes there is mild lower abdominal pain, a feeling of falling during fetal movement, and mild back pain and abdominal distension.

3. Ectopic pregnancy

If for some reason the fertilized egg implants in the fallopian tube, ovary, pelvic cavity or other parts outside the uterine cavity, an ectopic pregnancy, also known as ectopic pregnancy, will occur. This type of pregnancy cannot develop fully and vaginal bleeding often occurs midway. The bleeding symptoms caused by ectopic pregnancy are mainly spotting, dark brown, small amount, not exceeding the menstrual volume. If the gestational sac does not rupture, there will be no pain. Once it ruptures, the pain will be unbearable and there will be heavy bleeding.

4. It is normal for a small number of women

In clinical practice, we can see a small number of women who, although pregnant, still have a small amount of bleeding around three or four days during the menstrual period. This is related to the individual's hormone level. Some women also have a small amount of bleeding. If it is determined to be normal, you only need to do a pregnancy check-up.
