Nowadays, using ovulation test strips to test pregnancy is a common method of testing pregnancy. If the result of the ovulation test paper is negative during the ovulation period, you need to go to the hospital to confirm whether you are pregnant. In fact, using ovulation test strips to test whether you are pregnant is only an auxiliary measure. The truly accurate result still requires going to the hospital for B-ultrasound to confirm the result. How to use ovulation test strips: 1. Try not to urinate within 4 hours before the test. Avoid excessive fluid intake before the test. You may find it more convenient to use your first morning urine for the test. 2. Prepare for the test When ready to test, remove the ovulation test from its foil packet and remove the white cap. Take out and use immediately. Simply hold the wand, facing downward, in your urine stream for 5 seconds. If you prefer, you can also collect your urine sample in a clean, dry container and dip the absorbent stick into the urine for 20 seconds. 3. Wait for 3 minutes - put on the white pen cap, keep the absorbent stick facing down or place the ovulation test pen flat. The test results will be displayed within 3 minutes. 4. Read the test results To read the test results, look in the results window for blue lines, which are the surge and quality control lines. The surge line is closest to the arrow: If the No Surge line or the Surge line is lighter in color than the Control line, you did not detect an LH surge. Please test again at the same time tomorrow. If the surge line is the same darker or darker than the control line, you have detected an LH surge, which is a fertile time in the menstrual cycle. Having sex within your fertile 48 hours will greatly increase your chances of becoming pregnant. You do not need to continue testing during this period. The control line also indicates whether the test was performed correctly. If the control line does not appear within 10 minutes, the test should be repeated with a new test pen. View the results within 10 minutes, and any changes in the window after this time will be ignored. Interpretation of results Negative result Only a red stripe appears in the control line area or the test line is lighter than the control line. If a red strip appears, that is, the control line is colored and the test line is not colored, it means there is no ovulation; if two red strips appear and the test line is obviously lighter than the control line, it means that the LH in the urine has not yet reached a peak and daily testing must be continued. Positive results Two colored bands appear and the test line is equal to or darker than the control line. This indicates that the LH peak has occurred, meaning that ovulation will occur within 24-48 hours. Invalid results When no colored band appears in the control line area, it indicates that the test has failed or the reagent has expired. In this case, read the instructions carefully again and retest with a new test strip. If the problem persists, stop using that batch of product immediately and contact your local distributor and/or manufacturer. Precautions 1. This reagent is for one-time use in in vitro testing only. 2. The sealed aluminum foil bag of this reagent can only be opened before testing. It should be used as soon as possible within 1 hour after opening the original package. 3. Not every woman ovulates during the middle of her cycle, so a positive result may not appear during the 5-day test. 4. The changes in the color of the test line during the test should be observed and recorded. If the test result is negative but the color of the test line begins to decrease, it can be regarded as the LH peak. 5. Too dilute urine will result in too low LH concentration in urine, and the LH concentration in urine lacks representativeness, so it is not advisable to drink too much water or other beverages before the test. 6. The reaction results of this test paper should be observed within the specified time, and the results will be invalid after 30 minutes. 7. Do not allow the test strip to get wet or touch the reaction membrane before use. Please close the can lid immediately after taking out the test strip from the can. 8. It should be used within the validity period and do not use after the expiration date. 9. Read the instructions carefully before starting the test and follow each step accurately; do not take any medicines such as hormones that may affect the test results. When you avoid situations that may interfere with the test results, the pregnancy test stick will be accurate. 10. You can take the test at any time of the day, but the test time should be the same every day. |
