We all know the symptom of ovulation and good pregnancy, which means it is easy to get pregnant during ovulation period. In fact, the cost of having a child is extremely high now. Although the country has opened the two-child policy, many couples choose to have only one child because the cost of raising a child is really high. Therefore, how to use contraception safely and effectively is very important. Ovulation and pregnancy symptoms: Generally speaking, women will not experience obvious symptoms during the ovulation period, but a few people will experience discomfort during the ovulation period. The main symptoms are decreased appetite, high energy, increased sexual desire, and decreased resistance. During ovulation, women's vaginal mucus will become thinner to allow sperm to pass more easily, thereby increasing the chances of successful conception. At the same time, women's nasal mucus will also decrease, which increases the chances of bacteria invading the human circulatory system. Ovulation bleeding is generally not a large amount and lasts for half a day or several days, and may be accompanied by mild abdominal pain or back pain. 1. Safe period contraception method Safe period contraception is a contraceptive method that stops sexual intercourse during the ovulation period. The key to using safe period contraception is to determine the woman's ovulation date. A woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. It is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse in the five days before and four days after ovulation, so it is also called the danger period. For people with regular menstruation, it is relatively simple to determine the ovulation period. You can calculate the ovulation period based on the menstrual cycle, which is the 14th day before the next menstrual period. However, menstruation will change with the health of the body, environmental changes, and mood swings. The ovulation period calculated according to the menstrual cycle is not accurate enough, so the contraceptive failure rate is very high. Usually this method is only suitable for people with normal menstrual cycles, couples living together for a long time and who can correctly calculate the safe period. It is not recommended as the first choice method of contraception. 2. Condom contraception Condoms, also known as safety condoms, are safe in two aspects. On the one hand, compared with the rhythmic period contraceptive method, their contraceptive success rate is high. If used correctly, their contraceptive rate can reach more than 95%. Compared with oral contraceptives and other methods, the use of condoms has almost no side effects. In addition to preventing pregnancy, it can also prevent sexually transmitted diseases such as trichomoniasis vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, bacterial vaginitis, genital herpes virus, genital warts, syphilis, and AIDS. 3. Oral contraceptives The main ingredients of oral contraceptives are synthetic combined estrogen and progestin. According to the duration of contraceptive effect, it can be divided into three types: long-acting, short-acting and rapid-acting (for visiting relatives). The most commonly used one at present is the combined short-acting oral contraceptive. Combined short-acting oral contraceptives are easy to take, have reliable contraceptive effects, are harmless to the human body, and do not affect future fertility. Generally, take the medicine after dinner before going to bed on the 5th day of menstruation, one tablet a day for 21 consecutive days, and stop taking the medicine for 7 days. Start the next cycle of contraception. Contraceptive pills for visiting relatives are suitable for those who stay with relatives for more than 10 consecutive days. They can be taken after intercourse and are not restricted by the menstrual cycle. If you are visiting relatives for more than two weeks, you should take birth control pills instead. For long-acting oral contraceptives, the first dose is 1 tablet after lunch on the 5th day of menstruation, and the second dose is taken 20 days later. Thereafter, the second dose day will be used as the monthly dose date, and one tablet will be taken each month. 4. Contraceptive injection The progestin-only contraceptive injection is given once on the 5th day of menstruation and then once every 3 months thereafter. After using the pregnancy injection alone, about 2/3 of women experience irregular bleeding. Can be used in breastfeeding women. 5. Subcutaneous implant contraceptive method The subcutaneous contraceptive implant method is to place a certain dose of progesterone in a silicon capsule tube, and then bury the tube under the skin, so that it slowly releases a small amount of progesterone, thereby achieving a contraceptive effect. After the capsule tube is buried in the subcutaneous tissue, it immediately begins to slowly release contraceptive pills, which can take effect after 24 hours and are effective for 5 years. In the initial stage of use, irregular menstruation, prolonged menstruation, increased menstrual flow and menstrual disorders may occur, and some women may even experience amenorrhea. Women under the age of 40 who need long-term contraception, as long as they are in good health, can use this method of contraception. It is especially suitable for women who are prone to failure when using IUDs, women who cannot take contraceptives on time, and women who have concerns about sterilization surgery. 6. Intrauterine device Commonly known as "IUD", it is mostly used for postpartum women and is a commonly used, relatively safe and reliable contraceptive method. In some cases, there may be increased menstrual flow, menstrual abdominal pain, uterine perforation or inflammation after the placement of the IUD. Women with gynecological inflammation, irregular or excessive menstruation, or genital tumors should not wear an IUD. |
