What is the correct way to use a postpartum belly belt?

The purpose of a postpartum belt is actually to reshape your body. This method can also have a very good effect, but because some postpartum mothers do not know how to use the belt correctly, it affects the effectiveness of the use. In fact, the strap needs to massage and push the abdomen from the front, and then use the strap to tie from the hip pubic bone.

The traditional abdominal belt is a piece of breathable and sweat-absorbent white cotton cloth, about 9 meters long and 14 centimeters wide.

method:

1. Lie on your back, flat on your back, bend your knees, place your feet flat on the bed, and raise your hips.

2. Use both hands to push and massage from the lower abdomen and palms downward to the heart.

3. After the push-up, pick up the abdominal belt and start wrapping it from the pubic area of the hips. Focus on the lower abdomen for the first 5 to 7 circles and repeat it. Then move the height of each circle about 2 cm and wrap it from bottom to top until it covers the belly button, and then secure it with a paper clip. When removing it, roll the belly band into a cylindrical shape to facilitate next use. (If you use a corset, the first and second steps are the same, but you should button from bottom to top.)

time:

You can start using a belly band on the second or third day of natural childbirth. When the wound from caesarean section is slightly healed, start using it on the fifth or sixth day. It is best to tie it 24 hours a day in the first two weeks of confinement. If you feel it is loose, tie it again. You can remove it when you go to bed at night in the last two weeks.
