What should I eat after a caesarean section to help my body recover faster?

Many women will choose to have a cesarean section. Cesarean section will have a greater impact on the health of the mother, so dietary adjustment should be strengthened. One week after delivery, the diet should be light. You can eat some liquid or semi-liquid food, such as crucian carp soup, noodles, eggs, rice porridge, etc. As the body gradually improves, gradually increase some calories and nutrition to allow the mother's body to gradually recover.

1. Day 1: a cup of radish water, a cup of boiled water, and rice porridge.

The mother can eat only 6 hours after cesarean section when the intestines are discharged.

2. Day 2:

Breakfast: Homemade millet porridge, or boiled eggs in water, which is nutritious and tastes good;

Lunch: Millet porridge or soft noodles. Noodle soup can be crucian carp soup or something like that.

Dinner: white rice porridge (with a few lettuce leaves), radish soup, rice wine and eggs (add a little brown sugar to expel lochia, rice wine and eggs to increase milk production) and the Chinese medicine Rhizoma Lulutong (to clear the milk ducts).

3. Day 3:

Breakfast: white rice porridge (mix it with some millet), a meat bun stuffed with some fermented glutinous rice (don’t eat the meat filling, it has the effect of boosting milk secretion).

Lunch: White rice porridge (mixed with some millet).

Dinner: white rice porridge (mixed with some red dates), stir-fried chicken greens, and good luck.

4. Day 4

Breakfast: black rice porridge (with wolfberry) and a red bean paste bun.

Lunch: Crucian carp soup (to increase lactation), add an egg.

Dinner: Black fish soup (for wound recovery), stir-fried mushrooms with Chinese cabbage, red bean and white fungus soup

5. Day 5

Breakfast: rice porridge, a red bean paste bun

Lunch: Crucian carp soup with vegetables and noodles

Dinner: Black fish soup, stir-fried Chinese cabbage with black fungus, white rice porridge with a few red dates

6. Day 6

Breakfast: rice porridge, a red bean paste bun, half a steamed bun

Lunch: Rice porridge, crucian carp soup

Dinner: 2 large bowls of crucian carp soup, stir-fried greens, stir-fried Chinese cabbage, white rice porridge

7. Day 7

Breakfast: 1 red bean paste bun, 2 boiled eggs with fermented rice wine

Lunch: Black fish soup, crucian carp soup with steamed egg

Dinner: 3 bowls of crucian carp soup, stir-fried cabbage, white rice porridge
