Will athlete's foot in pregnant women affect the fetus?

Generally speaking, when a pregnant woman suffers from athlete's foot, it will not cause other serious effects on the fetus. However, you should not take medication indiscriminately to treat athlete's foot, otherwise it may easily cause other side effects to the fetus. Pregnant women can treat athlete's foot through traditional Chinese medicine's foot bathing method. As long as they persist in this practice and pay attention to their own hygiene, they will recover soon.

Topical medication

For athlete's foot caused by sweat and foot odor, rub the soles of your feet with powdered alum for ten minutes. After rubbing it several times, the foot odor can be relieved; for erosive athlete's foot, boil ginger slices and salt, then rub and scrub for a few minutes to relieve it; keratotic athlete's foot can be treated by soaking your feet in water boiled with soybeans. After washing for a few days, the peeling of the feet will improve and the skin will be moisturized; for blister-type athlete's foot, soak your feet in rice vinegar. Wash your feet twice a day for about an hour each time. It can effectively reduce inflammation and kill bacteria.

Chinese medicine treatment

1. Grind any one of alum, phellodendron, gallnut, or cuttlefish bone into powder, wash your feet, and apply to the affected area.

2.15 grams of Sichuan pepper, 30 grams of white balsam, and 30 grams of sapodilla. Choose any one of them and put it in half a pound of vinegar and soak it for a day. Soak for 20 minutes every night before going to bed. Repeat the treatment for 7 days. It is effective in treating keratotic athlete's foot.

Folk remedies

1. Put an appropriate amount of salt and a few slices of ginger in the water, heat it to boiling, let it cool slightly, then use it to soak your feet and rub them with ginger slices. It can not only relieve athlete's foot, but also increase blood circulation and relax your feet.

2. Add 150 grams of soybeans to one kilogram of water, cook on low heat for about 20 minutes, and use it to soak your feet when the water temperature is suitable. It can effectively treat athlete's foot and also make the skin moisturized.

3. Pour one pound of rice vinegar into a basin of water and use it to soak the affected area twice a day, each time for one hour. It can help reduce inflammation, kill bacteria and relieve athlete's foot.

4. Wash 250 grams of fresh leek, cut it into small pieces, pour in boiling water, let it cool until it is safe to put your feet in, soak your feet for half an hour, and rub your feet with the leek pieces. Wash your feet once a week.
