What causes poor ovarian function?

Poor ovarian function has a particularly great impact on women's health. It not only easily leads to irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea, but also causes women to age prematurely. It often causes chloasma on the face, premature wrinkles on the skin, etc. There are many reasons for poor ovarian function, including both disease-related reasons and some anxiety and depression. In daily life, we should strengthen the maintenance of the ovaries and do a good job of protecting the ovaries.

During the fetal period, the number of primordial follicles in a woman's ovaries is the highest. After the onset of puberty, the number of follicles will decrease with each cycle, and the number of follicles that can be mobilized will also decrease.

The ovarian reserve function gradually declines. The human body does not have the function of producing follicles from scratch. Once the primordial follicles are consumed, the secretory function of the ovaries is largely terminated and fertility also ceases.

Due to many diseases, the primordial follicles in the ovaries or other important tissues in the ovarian cortex are over-consumed or destroyed, which can lead to an abnormal or premature decline in ovarian reserve. This condition is called inadequate ovarian reserve.

Also, consider the responsiveness of the ovaries. The ovaries are involved in hormone regulation and are a link in the sex hormone balance system. If the ovaries respond poorly or not at all to stimulants from the pituitary gland and other sources, clinical manifestations of poor ovarian function will also appear. The ovulatory function of the ovary is closely related to the secretory function of the ovary.

The ovaries are important reproductive organs in women. They secrete more than 20 kinds of hormones and growth factors that maintain the youthfulness of nine major systems and more than 400 parts of the female body. Taking care of the ovaries is a compulsory task for women.

In terms of diet, you should pay attention to drinking more water. After waking up in the morning, drink 200-300 ml of cold boiled water. Eat more fresh vegetables, fruits and melons rich in vitamins, and also pay attention to foods that supplement collagen, such as pig's trotters, pork skin, lean meat, fish, etc., to promote the skin to absorb and store moisture, which can make the skin appear plump and moisturized.
