1. Surgery is not recommended for advanced breast cancer. The risk of surgical treatment is high and the recurrence rate after surgery is high:

The five years after surgery are a high-risk period for recurrence, with a five-year recurrence rate of 50%. The highest risk of recurrence is between 1 and 3 years after surgery. The clinical value is quite significant, but endocrine therapy is more beneficial for patients with early-stage non-metastatic disease. However, the drugs are expensive, have varying effectiveness, and have side effects. Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes the principles of regulation and balance in treating tumors, restoring and enhancing the body's internal disease resistance, thereby achieving the goal of treating tumors with a balance of yin and yang. However, traditional Chinese medicine has low efficacy and takes a long time to show results, and many cancer patients cannot afford to wait.
