If this part bleeds for a while, you will get cancer.

Endometrial cancer is one of the three major malignant tumors of the female reproductive tract. In recent years, its incidence and mortality rates have gradually increased and tend to be younger. Its incidence rate has jumped to the first place among gynecological malignant tumors in developed regions such as Europe and the United States, accounting for 7% of female malignant tumors and 20-30% of female reproductive tract malignant tumors. Its incidence rate in my country has also been increasing year by year. In some areas (Beijing, Shanghai, and Zhongshan City), it has surpassed cervical cancer and become the number one malignant tumor of the female reproductive tract.

Early symptoms

1. Vaginal bleeding: It mainly manifests as vaginal bleeding after menopause, and the amount is generally not much. Those who have not yet reached menopause may experience increased menstruation, prolonged menstrual periods, or menstrual disorders.

2. Vaginal discharge: mostly bloody or serous secretions. If combined with infection, there will be purulent and bloody discharge with a foul odor. About 25% of patients seek medical treatment due to abnormal vaginal discharge.

3. Lower abdominal pain and others: If the cancer involves the internal os of the cervix, it may cause pyometra, lower abdominal distension and cramp-like pain. In the late stage, it may infiltrate surrounding tissues or compress nerves, causing pain in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region. In the late stage, corresponding symptoms such as anemia, weight loss and cachexia may appear.

Ninety percent of patients will experience vaginal bleeding symptoms, three types of women should pay attention

1. Prolonged amenorrhea and bleeding: Some young people experience recurrent amenorrhea. Once "irregular" bleeding occurs, you must be alert.

2. Bleeding during the menopausal transition period: This is the perimenopausal period. Some people will experience irregular vaginal bleeding, but they think that they may have reached menopause, so they don’t pay much attention to it. In fact, a considerable number of people may have problems with the endometrium.

3. Already experiencing menopausal bleeding: This group of people are older, but that does not mean they will not suffer from gynecological diseases. During this period, elderly women are particularly prone to neglecting or being ashamed to undergo gynecological examinations. They are even unwilling to see a doctor when problems arise and take medicine at random. If treated early, the condition can be prevented from getting worse.

90% of endometrial cancer patients will experience vaginal bleeding or vaginal discharge symptoms. For premenopausal women, it may manifest as increased menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation or menstrual cycle disorders. Since these symptoms usually appear in the early stages of the disease, as long as they are discovered and treated early, they can be diagnosed and treated in the early stages of the disease, thus achieving a good prognosis.

Screening for endometrial cancer

Screening for endometrial cancer generally includes direct gynecological examination, cervical screening and B-ultrasound examination. The symptoms of endometrial cancer patients are mainly judged by menstruation, and a few are discovered through physical examination and B-ultrasound. It is recommended that women go to the hospital for a comprehensive gynecological examination every six months or a year, such as cervical cancer cell examination, gynecological B-ultrasound examination, etc.
