Here is everything you want to know about cervical adhesions!

Cervical adhesion is one of the common gynecological diseases in women, and it is more common in women of childbearing age. The occurrence of this disease is mostly caused by damage to the cervix. So what are the specific symptoms of cervical adhesion in women?

1. Infertility

The reason why cervical adhesions may cause female infertility is that cervical adhesions can easily lead to blockage of the fallopian tubes, making it impossible for the fertilized egg to implant normally and affecting normal pregnancy.

2. Menstrual disorders

Most female friends will experience infrequent menstruation, amenorrhea, and dysmenorrhea after suffering from cervical adhesions. Therefore, when the above abnormal symptoms occur, you must pay more attention and actively choose a hospital for examination and treatment.

3. Abnormal pregnancy

Some patients with cervical adhesions may suffer from symptoms of pregnancy failure even if they can become pregnant. The failure often occurs in the early and middle stages of pregnancy, resulting in miscarriage, premature birth, ectopic pregnancy, delayed abortion, etc. Fetal stillbirth may also occur, which is very harmful.

4. Lower abdominal pain

If people suffer from cervical adhesions but fail to receive timely treatment, the condition will continue to worsen. A small number of patients will also experience abdominal pain or even insomnia, posing a great threat to their normal life and fertility.

Most patients will experience sudden cramping pain in the lower abdomen about one month after abortion or curettage. If the pain is too severe, they will be restless and have difficulty moving, and it will be difficult for them to pass gas or defecate.
