There are generally no symptoms of cranial nerve and brain parenchyma damage, only manifestations such as dizziness due to ear damage. Common causes of ear-related dizziness include: external ear lesions, such as bite compression, foreign body obstruction, etc.; middle ear lesions, such as middle ear moxibustion, tympanic membrane retraction or calcification, otosclerosis, Eustachian tube obstruction, etc.; inner ear lesions, such as labyrinthitis, motion sickness, labyrinth trauma, positional vertigo, allergic reaction, inner ear vascular disease (anterior chamber stroke), vestibular poisoning, special inner ear infection, etc.

Ocular dizziness is characterized by worsening dizziness when looking at objects with eyes open and less fatigue or disappearance when eyes closed. It is mostly caused by eye muscle disease, refractive error, glaucoma or visual impairment.
