Treatment methods for burn scars, scar removal can be done this way

Burns are a common accident in life. There is a high probability of leaving scars after a burn, especially when the burn is severe. The scars left by burns are a huge damage to people's appearance, so what are the ways to remove scars?

1. Treatment methods for burn scars

1: There are many non-surgical methods for treating burn scars, including cryotherapy, pressure therapy, physical therapy, radiotherapy, laser therapy, and drug therapy, etc. These methods are selected based on the specific conditions of the patient's scars. For example, pressure therapy is best used during scar formation and can effectively prevent scar proliferation. Moreover, these non-surgical methods have limitations and are not very effective in treating severe burn scars.

Surgical method: For severe burn scars, surgical treatment is generally the method of treatment. To treat this type of burn scar, you can choose scar excision, fractionated excision, skin grafting, skin grinding, tissue expansion and microsurgery techniques, etc. Especially for large-area burns, tissue expansion or surgical transplantation is generally used to treat scars. For more serious burn scars on the joints, where adhesions have occurred and caused functional impairment, skin transplantation combined with traction technology can be used for treatment.

Generally speaking, comprehensive treatment does not use a single method to treat burn scars. During the treatment process, the doctor will formulate treatment measures based on the patient's specific situation, such as auxiliary drugs after surgery, physical therapy after surgery, combination of drugs and physical therapy, radiation or isotope therapy, etc. Combine multiple methods to achieve the best results.

2. How to treat burns without leaving scars

1: Rinse slowly with water. If you are scalded by oil, you can immediately open the kitchen faucet, turn on the water a little and wash the wound. Note that if the scald is very serious, go to the hospital immediately. If you rashly pour water on the wound, it will only cause worse consequences. This step is only for mild burns.

2: Use burn ointment to treat wounds. It is recommended that every family prepare a few tubes of burn ointment. After all, cooking will cause some "injury", so you should prepare more band-aids, burn ointment, safflower oil, etc. Once you get burned, clean the wound quickly and apply burn ointment to prevent it from getting worse.

Apply honey to the wound. If you don’t have burn ointment at home and unfortunately you get burned, don’t panic. Some ingredients can help the wound heal without leaving scars, such as honey, ginger, etc. If you don’t have any, you can beat an egg and apply the egg white to the injured area to protect it.

Three: Female friends are most afraid of leaving wounds

If you have a scar, in order to allow the wound to heal perfectly, do not eat soy sauce during the process. If you really want to eat soy sauce, only use light soy sauce. Dark soy sauce will cause pigmentation and leave scars on the wound. Once black scars are formed, they are difficult to remove.
