Women should never squeeze this area during menopause

Menopause refers to the cessation of menstruation. Before menopause, there is a stage of gradual ovarian decline. According to surveys, it lasts for about 2 to 4 years, and the length varies in different people. It is called premenopause. After menopause, ovarian function becomes even lower, but it does not necessarily disappear completely immediately. It usually takes 2 to 3 years, but sometimes it can last up to 6 to 8 years, or even longer. So what should we pay attention to during menopause? There are many things that women should pay attention to during menopause. The most important thing to note is that women's vaginas are prone to dryness before and after menopause. At this time, you must handle it with caution and never squeeze it at will.

1. Wear multiple layers of clothing. It is best to wear cotton products inside, and if hot flashes occur, take off the outer clothes. Also, drink a glass of cool water or cold juice when a hot flash starts.

2. Wear cotton pajamas and keep the bedroom cool. Put extra sheets on your bed. When hot flashes occur, wet the top sheet and remove it.

3. Pay attention to your diet. Women in this period have lost their memory due to long-term excessive brain use. They also have symptoms such as slow reaction, nervous tension, palpitations and weakness. Pay attention to eating brain-enhancing foods such as walnuts, peanuts, pine nuts, cashews, etc., and eat less greasy food. Choose lean meat, fish, fat-free meat, and vegetables and fruits in your diet.

4. Keep exercising. Some women find that regular exercise can lessen the effects of hot flashes and help them sleep better.

5. Correct your living habits. Exercise regularly and promote a healthy and beneficial lifestyle, especially quitting smoking in public places and at home and eliminating passive smoking.

6. Eat more tofu. Beans contain a substance from the same family as estrogen that may help relieve symptoms like hot flashes. You can also drink cold soy milk when hot flashes start, and drink soy milk 2 to 3 times a week to replenish estrogen in the body.

7. Stay optimistic. It's a whole body stress reliever that can help reduce worry, tension, and stress. The symptom of menopause is "rabbit's tail - it won't grow longer". It will gradually disappear within 3-5 years at most.

8. Treat vaginal dryness. It seems that decreased libido is associated with vaginal dryness. Vaginal dryness can cause painful intercourse. There are vaginal lubricants on the market, which come in two types: water-soluble and estrogen-containing. They can lubricate the vagina and solve the problem of vaginal dryness during sexual intercourse.

In addition, as a woman, you must also be aware of these things before and after menopause.

1. The age of menopause among women varies greatly, with the average age of menopause being approximately 51 or 52 years old.

Most women go through menopause in their early 50s, but some may go through menopause in their 30s, and some women may not go through menopause until they are 60.

2. Even if you still have your periods, you may experience some menopausal symptoms.

You may experience menopausal symptoms several years before menopause. This period is called perimenopause and usually occurs a few years before menopause and the first year after menopause.

Women in perimenopause experience significant fluctuations in hormone levels. Therefore, women may experience hot flashes and changes in their menstrual cycles during this period. The menstrual flow may suddenly become much more than before, or it may be less than before; the menstrual cycle may become shorter or longer, or there may be no menstruation in some months. Although women in perimenopause may have a decreased fertility, they can still become pregnant.

3. After menopause, be alert to the rapid decrease in bone density.

Bone loss is most rapid in the first few years after menopause, and osteoporosis occurs when bone loss is faster than normal bone remodeling.

Regular physical activity can help keep your bones and muscles strong. In addition, to avoid osteoporosis, calcium and vitamin D should be supplemented. Include enough dairy products and calcium-rich foods in your diet.

4. Hot flashes may occur before menopause.

Although not every woman will experience hot flashes before or after menopause, it is estimated that approximately 80%-85% of women will experience hot flashes during perimenopause and postmenopause. The severity and frequency of hot flashes is different for each person. Women with a higher body mass index (BMI) and earlier menopause have a higher frequency of hot flashes and night sweats.

Here are some simple ways to relieve this discomfort: Wear appropriate clothing thickness, avoid drinking alcohol and eating spicy foods, and eat soy foods or black sesame extract, which may help relieve symptoms.

5. After menopause, it takes longer to reach orgasm.

After menopause, there is a noticeable decrease in sexual desire. Because at this time, the skin and tissues in the vagina will become thinner and drier, which makes sex painful and takes longer to reach orgasm. But overall, women can still enjoy sex during perimenopause and postmenopause just as much as they did when they were younger.

6. If vaginal bleeding occurs after menopause, it should not be taken lightly.

During perimenopause, women experience irregular vaginal bleeding; but after menopause, if you are not taking hormone therapy, vaginal bleeding is no longer normal. At this time, you should go to the hospital for examination in time to find out the cause of the bleeding.
