What should I do if there are white blood cells in women’s urine?

Our human body needs energy every day, and we also detoxify our body through urination and sweating every day. But did you know that urination actually reflects our physical condition? When we go to the hospital for examination, the hospital often requires us to provide urine for examination. Some women have white blood cells in their urine. What is the situation? Let us take a look at it.

Urinalysis white blood cell test is a test to check the white blood cells among the three types of cells in urine routine examination. Normal urine may contain a small amount of white blood cells. Generally, the number of white blood cells per high-power field (HP) of centrifuged urine is 1 to 2, which is still normal. If there are more than 5 white blood cells per high-power field, it is called microscopic pyuria. Microscopic pyuria indicates purulent inflammation of the urethra, such as pyelonephritis, cystitis or urethritis, renal tuberculosis, etc. In glomerulonephritis, the number of white blood cells in the urine may also increase slightly. Results A total of 653 specimens were cultured positive, including 233 sputum specimens, 173 throat swabs, and 247 midstream urine specimens. The main positive strains were Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus epidermidis. The antibiotics with higher sensitivity rates include vancomycin, imipenem, amikacin and ceftazidime, and the antibiotics with higher resistance rates include penicillin, (4) drug concentration

Objective To establish a simple method for determination of mycophenolic acid in human plasma by HPLC. Methods High performance liquid chromatography was used with a C18 column (3.9 mm × 300 mm) and 40 mmoL/L tetrabutylammonium bromide:acetonitrile [55:45 (V:V), H3PO4 adjusted to pH 4] as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.8 mL/min. The ultraviolet detection wavelength was 254 nm, and the blood samples were processed by the methanol protein precipitation method. Results The linear range of mycophenolic acid was 0.8-51.54 mg/L (r=0.9998), the average relative recovery was 95.5%-109.2%, the extraction recovery was>90%, and the intra-batch and inter-batch RSDs were<10%. Conclusion This method is accurate and simple, and can be used for monitoring the blood concentration of mycophenolic acid and studying its bioequivalence.

Patients with diabetes insipidus, diabetes, etc. have almost colorless urine during polyuria; in hepatocellular jaundice and obstructive jaundice, the urine is orange or dark yellow, which is bilirubinuria. However, if riboflavin, vitamin B complex, or furan drugs are taken, the urine may also be dark yellow, which should be distinguished from the above-mentioned bilirubinuria; hematuria occurs in urinary system tumors, stones, tuberculosis or trauma and acute inflammation (such as acute cystitis), and the appearance is red. A large number of red blood cells can be seen under the microscope. When a large number of white blood cells, microorganisms, epithelial cells, or a large amount of amorphous phosphates and urates appear in the urine, the urine becomes milky. In addition, urine of other colors such as soy sauce color, red wine color, and dark brown may also be seen. After excluding the influence of drugs, it is recommended to go to the hospital for further examination.

After reading the above content about the presence of white blood cells in female urine, do you understand it? We should take good care of our bodies in life. It is best to go to the hospital for physical examinations regularly. This is responsible for our bodies. At the same time, we should also pay attention to diet in life and try to eat some healthy food.
