How to treat chronic cervicitis and cervical erosion

Chronic cervicitis and cervical erosion are one of the more common gynecological diseases among women. They have a great impact on women's physical health. In severe cases, they can cause cervical cancer, directly endangering women's lives and health. The initial symptoms of chronic cervicitis are generally abnormal leucorrhea, lower abdominal pain and other symptoms. Most of them are caused by external bacterial invasion due to childbirth or surgery, which is very harmful to the health of the reproductive system and can also affect conception.

For cervicitis, you should pay attention to a light diet, avoid spicy food, and do not smoke or drink. It is recommended that you do not eat spicy food during this period to avoid pelvic congestion, which is not conducive to the recovery of the disease. During the treatment, you cannot eat spicy and fried foods such as peppers, fennel, pepper, onions, mustard, roast chicken, fried pork chops, etc. You cannot eat warm foods such as beef, mutton, dog meat, etc., as these can cause heat and fire.

Severe cervicitis can cause infertility. When cervical erosion occurs, especially moderate or severe cervical erosion, cervical secretions will increase significantly, become thick, and contain a large number of white blood cells, which will have an adverse effect on sperm motility, hinder sperm from entering the uterine cavity, and affect conception. The infection is mostly caused by injury to the cervix during childbirth, abortion or surgery, which allows pathogens to invade.

Cervicitis is a major clinical cause of female infertility, because long-term inflammation stimulates the mucosa and causes proliferative inflammation. It can also lead to pain during sexual intercourse, which directly affects the sexual life of the couple and has a great impact on the harmony of family life. During the treatment process, the vulva should be kept clean and sexual intercourse should be avoided. If necessary, ask the husband to assist in the treatment. You should also pay attention to rest and avoid engaging in heavy physical labor.
