For pregnant women, contraceptive measures are very important. The IUD is an effective contraceptive method. So, what is the whole process of IUD insertion for women? In fact, the whole process of inserting an IUD can be completed within more than ten minutes. Nowadays, most mothers choose painless IUD insertion, which generally does not cause pain, so mothers do not need to worry. However, some relevant inspections need to be done before inserting the IUD. Moreover, mothers who suffer from uterine fibroids, cervicitis, fallopian tube inflammation and irregular menstruation should not use IUDs. This gynecological inflammation needs to be cured before the IUD surgery can be performed.

The whole process of inserting the IUD

The IUD is a common contraceptive method. Through a minimally invasive surgery, the IUD is placed into the female uterus. It achieves the purpose of contraception through reflex stimulation and the influence of chemicals, but it will not inhibit ovulation and will not affect the female endocrine system.

The original contraceptive ring was ring-shaped and made of metal materials such as stainless steel plates. Like a diamond ring, it could be used for decades!

The next most impressive thing is the T-shaped ring, which has two rods on it. When put into the larvae, it can be placed on the top of the larvae triangle. There is also a vertical rod in the middle with a tail wire. This structure is not easy to fall off and is convenient and easy to remove. Afterwards, some copper wire can be coiled around the vertical rod of the T-shaped ring to release iodine ions and improve the effectiveness of contraception.

The whole process of producing IUD vaccines

Inserting an IUD is a minimally invasive surgery. First, the doctor will carry out strict disinfection and sterilization, and then use a special tool called a "ring delivery device" to send the IUD into the uterus, remove the "ring delivery device", and then shorten the braided string tied to the IUD, and then it's OK.

Although the insertion of an IUD is a minimally invasive surgery, women who are already pregnant (including those who are suspected of being pregnant), or who have had an infectious miscarriage within three months, acute pelvic inflammatory disease, infectious endometritis, untreated cervicitis, malignant tumors (including suspected patients), or those who have bleeding problems and have already had an IUD inserted should not have an IUD inserted again.

How much does it cost to go to the hospital

Insertion of an IUD is a common long-term contraceptive method for women. According to a survey, about 250 million women in my country use this method of contraception. When it comes to IUD insertion, in addition to whether it is safe, the cost estimate is also a question that female friends are very concerned about. So, how much does it cost to get an IUD? Let’s take a look at it together below.

Generally speaking, the cost of installing an IUD ranges from several hundred to over a thousand. This price difference is determined by the quality of the IUD, the complexity of its installation, and other factors. The quality and type of the IUD, and even the surgery to install it, all require professional preoperative examinations and relative physical analysis by professional doctors to determine the cost.

In addition, the price of IUDs will vary from region to region. The editor here advises all female friends that you must go to a regular hospital to get an IUD inserted!

Disadvantages of having an IUD

Wearing an IUD is a very good contraceptive method. There is no need to worry about significant side effects of emergency contraception, nor do you have to worry about an unexpected pregnancy caused by a condom breaking. But there are still some disadvantages of having an IUD. Let’s take a look at them together.

At present, the common contraceptive rings in China include metal single ring, peach ring, mixed ring, contraceptive ring, T-ring, etc., but the metal single ring is the most common. A contraceptive ring without medicine is called an inert contraceptive ring. If the contraceptive ring is added with estrogen or copper, it can improve the actual effect of contraception, which is called a medicated or specific contraceptive ring. It is the most popular type of contraceptive surgical device at this stage.

1. Infection. How can an IUD cause infection? When inserting the IUD, it will be strictly disinfected by the doctor and will basically not cause infection. However, if women have experienced genital inflammation before, or have sex too early or too frequently after having an IUD, it is easy to get infected.

2. Bleeding. Bleeding after IUD insertion is a normal phenomenon. Generally, women will experience a small amount of bleeding 3-4 days after the IUD is inserted. In theory, there is no need to worry too much if bleeding is found after the IUD operation. It does not need to be treated and it will heal after 1 week.

3. Excessive vaginal discharge. If the type of contraceptive ring is one that contains a tail thread, it may cause significantly excessive secretions, which is what we often call leucorrhea with an unpleasant odor. But after a period of time, if there is still a lot of secretions, fever and lower abdominal pain, you should go to the hospital for examination in time.

4. Increased menstrual flow. In the early stages of using the IUD, especially in the first three months, I noticed some abnormalities in my menstrual period. There is no need to be overly concerned about this situation. In many cases, it is caused by damage to the uterine wall due to the IUD. It will gradually get better after the body adapts.

5. Discomfort in the lower abdomen or back pain. Because the insertion of the IUD causes uterine contractions, it will cause lower abdominal distension and discomfort, and even back pain, but in some cases it may be caused by the IUD being too large or moving to the bottom of the uterus. Generally, if the condition is mild, no treatment is needed and it will improve gradually. If the condition is serious, you can try antiviral or other anti-inflammatory drugs. If you still feel uncomfortable, it is recommended to change to a contraceptive ring that suits you.

6. The tail thread is too solid or the length is not suitable. Such a situation will cause the male reproductive organs to feel pain or even be stabbed during intercourse. If this happens, go to the hospital and let the doctor cut off the tail thread and keep it in the cervical canal.
