How to treat moderate cervical erosion?

Many female friends will suffer from cervical erosion to varying degrees at ordinary times. When cervical erosion is mild, it can usually be cured through drug treatment. However, when it is found that cervical erosion has reached moderate to severe levels, it is best to choose the appropriate method for treatment under the guidance of a doctor in time. Below, the editor will introduce some common and effective methods for treating cervical erosion.

At present, some doctors in China will express it as "cervical erosion" during physical examination and diagnosis based on the patient's symptoms. "Cervical erosion" can be divided into mild (erosion area accounts for less than 1/3 of the entire cervical area), moderate (occupying 1/3-2/3 of the entire cervical area), and severe (occupying more than 2/3 of the entire cervical area). Doctors can usually make a clear diagnosis with the naked eye, and usually no treatment is required.

Chronic cervicitis is different and may lead to two situations: one is affecting conception. When diagnosed with moderate to severe cervical erosion, cervical secretions will increase significantly, become thick, and contain a large number of white blood cells, which will have an adverse effect on sperm motility, hinder sperm from entering the uterine cavity, and affect conception. Second, cervical inflammation can cause inflammation of other organs: pathogens from the cervix can ascend to cause endometritis and chronic pelvic inflammatory disease; when the inflammation spreads to the bladder triangle, it can cause urinary tract infection and cause irritating symptoms such as urinary pain, frequent urination, and urgency.

For cervicitis, it is especially recommended that patients with increased vaginal discharge or purulent or odorous discharge, as well as lower back pain, dull pain in the lumbosacral region, and even pain during sexual intercourse should be screened for pathogenic microorganisms such as gonorrhea and chlamydia. When microbial infection is found, antibiotics should be used in a timely manner to prevent ascending infection.

In addition, if you use sanitary pads every day for a long time and cannot ensure the quality of the sanitary pads, it is easy to breed bacteria. It is recommended to wear pure cotton underwear instead of sanitary pads and change them every day. Clinically, there are some "cleanliness-loving" patients who use disinfectant to flush the vagina, which may lead to illness because it not only affects the growth of normal vaginal flora, but also causes vaginal flora imbalance, which can cause varying degrees of cervical epithelial damage and cervicitis.

Generally speaking, it is definitely not suitable for pregnancy if you have gynecological inflammation. You need to improve the symptoms of cervicitis before trying to get pregnant. Otherwise, the bacteria during pregnancy will ascend along the cervix and may cause complications such as premature rupture of membranes. After complete recovery from this treatment, it is recommended that you undergo a gynecological examination every year as long as you are asymptomatic. One of the most important examinations is the cancer prevention screening of cervical cells.

If cervical erosion is not effectively treated for a long time, it is likely to continue to spread and cause some diseases of the uterus, which will seriously affect the health of women. It is best to go to the hospital for regular gynecological examinations, or when irregular vaginal bleeding is found, the cause should be found out as soon as possible and then effective treatment should be carried out.
